Didn’t think I’d ever start a blog.
Didn’t think I’d ever let strangers into my business.
And I definitely didn’t think the first thing I’d be introducing to the world would be my family.
But here we are.
Name’s Husk. Yeah, that Husk. Bartender. Gambler. Grump. Formerly wing-impaled and currently running on about three hours of sleep.
And beside me is Angel Dust — yes, that Angel Dust — dramatic, loud, pink, and now somehow the other half of this mess we call parenthood.
Between us?
Two little girls.

Angel’s got a tiny moth princess with white fur and pink spots, heart-tipped antennae, and wings that already curl around her like she is scared of everything and everyone already (not that I blame the kid as Fat Nuggets keeps attacking her).
And I’ve got a kitten with pink wings and Angel’s eyes staring back at me like she’s already judging my life choices. Long tail. Tiny claws. Strong lungs.
We didn’t plan for the spotlight.
We didn’t plan for people watching.
But if you’re here, then this is where you’ll be reading about our lives — recovery, sleepless nights, wings that still ache, babies that won’t stop crying, and whatever the hell comes next.
This blog is about healing.
About parenthood.
About Angel and me figuring this out without killing each other.
So if you’re sticking around — welcome.
Just read the rules first.
