When Desperation Becomes Delusion
I think insecure jikookers (which honestly, is growing day by day in number), are now riding a thin line that may well take them down to the Cult Town.
The jikook TL these past few days have been lacking jikook moments. And it has caused a sort of snowball effect - with jikookers desperate for any interaction between Jimin and Jungkook, they have taken to coming up with the most ludicrous analyses as to why there aren't any. Or at least not as many as they want.
Oh...jikook sat together and were only in each other's orbit, so now the company is deliberately making them sit apart.
Oh, Jungkook posted a song that referenced silver, so now the company had Jimin change his mic to black.
Oh, Jungkook cried and Jimin didn't comfort him right then and there. It's because RM halted Jimin in his tracks...
Listen...this is not the jikook tl I am used to seeing, and I'm afraid the delusional, insecure ones are now running our tl.
The ones who need to see Jimin and Jungkook constantly together or else they're fighting, broken up or were never together to begin with.
The ones who can't stomach seeing Taehyung posting about JK, and justify it by crying that he must obviously be feeding his cult. No other reason. It can't possibly be because they have been FRIENDS and BANDMATES for the past 14+ years.
Nevermind these same insecure ones go quiet when JK posts Tae and not Jimin. Crickets. Cuz it doesn't feed their ego.
Why....WHY is it so hard to grasp that Jimin and Jungkook OWE US NOTHING?!!!
They do not have to post each other for us to believe and know that they're spending time together.
They do not have to interact every second on stage. Cuz here's a reality check for those who are here just for jikook interactions. You are going to be sorely disappointed for at least the next year because BTS...the GROUP...7 members...are on tour, are on that stage...a HUGE stage that requires the members to be split up most of the time to cover the entire space. So chances are, Jikook will rarely interact.
Reality Check #2 - Park Jimin is a freaking PRIVATE PERSON!!!
Jimin posts only when he wants to...which we need to accept is few and far between now. His reasons are his own and not our business to speculate why and get angry about. Because while you stew in your anger, he is happily living his best life.
If he doesn't want to post Jungkook either, that is his business. And guess what...there are people in this world who don't actually love to live their lives with their significant other on social media.
The same goes for Jungkook. The man can post what and who he wants without there ALWAYS being a frigging reason!!!
He is his OWN PERSON. Not every damn song post needs to be tied to Jimin!
Can they BREATHE for a second without The Insecure analyzing everything to fit into a narrative they NEED or else...what? Their existence is meaningless?
Give me a break! Honestly! I have had it!
I have had it with insecure jikookers!
Go outside, touch some damn grass, live your damn lives outside of social media, and let Jimin and Jungkook live theirs!!!
Celebrate and hype the moments we get.
And if there are none...don't go looking for reasons. Jimin and Jungkook do not exist to feed your fantasies. And they are allowed to be private, and/or interact with others around them instead of each other sometimes. They are allowed to post other people on their social media instead of each other. Don't go looking for reasons to satisfy your unwarranted insecurity.
Because the reason will always be that these two might be the most important people in each other's lives...but they are not the ONLY people in each other's lives.
They have 5 other bandmates they absolutely adore and love.
They have friends outside of BTS.
They have families, siblings they spend time with.
Hard pill to swallow for those of you who are overly immature, and believe Jikook exist in a bubble that must exclude everyone else otherwise the world will fall apart.
PS. The ones who are desperately hanging on to the 'predictions' of certain accounts...you're just as bad. Those accounts are literally just preying on your desperation, naivete and sheep mentality. They know SQUAT, yet are giving reasons for predictions as if Jimin and Jungkook personally whispered in their ear; as if they work for HYBE and sift through files every day to know everything.
Anyway, the boys have a 2 week break until the next concert. Can't wait to see the theories our resident insecure jikookers come up with!
