BIGGEST MOOD
Ever since I was little, I can remember feeling like my dad radiated strength. When I was near him, I could absorb some of that fearlessness and conquer whatever lied in front of me. He has always given me a sense of peace and confidence that no one else can. From the age of seven, I went and saw countless doctors who seemingly ordered an endless amount of tests, and each one that my dad took me to, I felt a little less afraid because he was there. A hand squeeze, a hug, even just a reassuring glance, it was like it transferred some sort of invisible bravery to me. This man is my rock, my lighthouse, my hero. He’s given me more than I could ever repay him for. He’s an unmatchable example of a husband and a father and a human. I love him with all of my heart.
I'm so thankful his surgery was successful and I can only pray that we continue to kick cancer's ass!!
That’s how you know it’s true, when a new love feels old and an old love feels new.

That post about Scottish tweets ripping Donald Trump apart is good but here are some more. I think “Trump is a Cunt” held by Janey Godley is my favourite.
I would like to thank the entire population of Scotland.
R.I.P to all the friendships where we acted like lovers at some point, and now we barely talk.

Memorial Day Weekend
My heart is so happy. This weekend has been unforgettable. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard or acted weirder in my life. These people continue to show me pieces of myself and love me without judgement. I wish I could just pause life in this moment and bask in it for a while.

There’s a couple of stages of having a chronic disease; there’s the being sick - like suddenly you’re sick and you don’t know what’s wrong. And that can be super terrifying depending on how severe your symptoms are. Then there’s the being diagnosed part which comes along with this word chronic, which inside of it hiding there is the word incurable - which no one says out loud but which is the worst word. It means, not only has your life changed, your life has changed irrevocably.

Not everyone will understand your journey. That’s okay. You’re here to live your life, not to make everyone understand.
