Thank you guys all so much, I know I’ve gone missing but its time I tell you why. 

My husband and I have decided to separate after a few years of trying and failing to make our marriage work. We’re trying to do this as amicably as possible. 

I’m looking to buy a flat near some friends of mine and currently sleeping in the spare room whilst we figure out how to proceed. 

In the meantime I’ve not generally been online much at all as I’ve been working hard and spending more time with RL friends who have been amazing with me. 

I thank you all for your positive words, thoughts and vibes. It means a lot.

I hope you all enjoy your simming! Keep the sim love alive. I’ll be back when I’m ready.

Kat Rambles

Sorry for the lack of posts / notes the last few days.

My personal life has taken an unexpected turn that means I need to reevaluate pretty much everything. Life sometimes throws curveballs at you, the test is what we do with them.

As always though the sims community and my RL friends are there in my times of need and for that I will forever be grateful.

I have played a little so hopefully will have a queue up and running again at some point too :-)

I’ve finally uploaded the lot I’ve had planned in my head for months and the vampire pack made it possible. It took an age to build but I’m really proud of it.

This week at work has been pretty busy but I finished it in a good place with an Arepa for lunch. Little things make me happy. lol.

I’m not quite ready to play yet. I have one more build I need to do (vampire club anyone?!) once that is complete I’ll be ready to play out my storyline with the enigmatic Amy Kekoa-Messer and incorrigible Fabian Kim as they move to the city to find their place in the world. 

Anyway I got a bit behind on replies so see them below the cut :-)

Thank you, it was supposed to be a 1000 follower gift about 3 months ago. lol. But I’m glad I waited as the vampire pack just made it even better. I love the build buy content that it and the Glamour pack came with.

How are they?

The little I’ve played of the vampires they are quite good. They don’t sparkle (thank god). They can build up skills, they have a balance of strengths and weaknesses. They have 2 different looks, on human, on dark. Its a good take on vamps I think. My only gripe is that eating plasma fruit doesn’t seem to satiate their appetite very much.

How are toddlers? �� Are they different from ts2 and ts3 toddlers?

Way cuter, more interactive and more able to do things for themselves. EA did good.

Nephilim Mansion (No CC)

Lot Type: Residential Lot Size: 40x30 Lot Price: 510,929  (load up your sims with Motherlode or use the Freerealestate cheat to purchase) NB I did not assign lot traits. You can assign them when you place it.

Packs Used: EPs: Get To Work, Get Together, City Living, GPs: Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Dine Out, Vampires, SPs: Perfect Patio, Cool Kitchen, Movie Hangout, Romantic Garden, Backyard, Vintage Glamour (if you don’t have a pack the game will replace items with something similar) 

Backstory: The Nephilim mansion sits high on the hill in Forgotten Hollow. No one knows quite how long the mansion has existed it just seems to have always been there and rumours swirl about what really goes on inside its grand interior. It boasts 7 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and no less than 4 reception rooms, a cellar and a landscaped garden. Property experts price it at just over 510,000.

Rhodrigo and Lilin seemed more than willing participants! 

I should be ready to upload the mansion tonight before bed, it's just a case of getting the pictures ready for it before I post. It is however already available on my sims 4 gallery if you search KrazyAngelKat81 :-)

Hundun amuses me too. He’s very zen but with a sense of mischief. Plus he can teleport around the mansion as well as becoming a bat and vamp running!

Talking of Aurora I may be a bit in love with her mix of innocent childlikeness and demon. She’s an interesting one!

She plays well with others too. Particularly musician Marius and athlete Leon.

Apparently vampires love a sauna as demonstrated by Rhodrigo and Aurora here. 

When they’re feeling anxious about daylight they head in there for a good steam. lol. It can get quite crowded in that little room as they all fight for a seat!

Playtesting my vampires and their mansion.

Kinda loving the vamps they’re just the right balance of scary vs quirky.

Also it quickly became clear that red headed Lilin is the leader of the pack despite Rhodrigo being the master vamp. Sebastianius is as seductive as I hope the nordic boy would be too!

The basement of the mansion holds its darker secrets.

This is where the vampire’s main coffins are kept and while a cell to hold their less willing blood donors is. Hopefully it won’t have to be used too often but with seven vampires to feed you just never know! ;-)

The third level of the houses the master suite that will be shared by Rhodrigo and Lilin, the heads of the Nephilim nest.

It has an old glamour feel to it with a secret coffin hole behind the bathroom in case of daylight emergencies. 

Theirs is the only bedroom I have completed thus far as I want each bedroom to suit the personality of the vampire it will play host to.

The top level turret of the mansion houses a small gym area which leads down to a grand open two level hallway that stretches across the third an second levels of the house and plays host to a music area for entertaining.
