Gay guys turned on to bears, before the term was ever used, and hot for boxing, must have spent many hours dreaming over photos of this guy. He lost a lot of fights at the end but won some amazing fights early in his career. Bear hunters don’t mind, they just wanted all that bulk bear boxing. Dreaming of how to have a hot bear night with him….Man that cigar….. Woof.

He even knocked out Jackie Gleason in a street fight after heckling Gleason who didn’t know who he was. Afterwards Gleason woke up in the basement of the club he was performng in and had to be told who he was duking it out with. It was a quick one two punch. Gleason was told Tony was mad because he wanted a longer, rougher fight.
