Out of Fire: OH MY GOD HAS IT REALLY BEEN SO LONG SINCE I LAST LOGGED IN HERE? Well, I have been around, just not here. My pet peeve is seeing people put their fandoms on a pedestal. Sometimes people also say that only “true fans” love the work blindly. Just because you love the work that inspired your fandom doesn’t mean it’s immune to criticism. IMO, “true fans” are able to recognize the work’s flaws and love it despite them.
