Lore II - The Cetra Language

The Cetra language is a very lyrical, beautiful tongue, filled with intriguing nuances and accents that would one day influence future languages. Their alphabet is short compared to the modern day standard at 18 instead of 26. The ability to listen to it is engraved in the hearts of all living beings on the Planet, though very few can understand or interpret it.
The following is an interpreted image of their written alphabet.
You’ll find that with the correct symbols, the versatile Cetra alphabet is capable of producing alternate sounds to make up for the lack of letters such as L and Z. Above you will see a chart that will give you an idea of how to create alternate letter sounds. Note that they do not become a whole new letter, just that the accents give the letter a different sound.
At first archeologists thought that the letter ‘O’ used by the Cetra went in the same order as modern standard alphabet does. However, after some close studying it was figured out that the 'O’ was last and the Cetra called it 'Omega’. Perhaps an allusion to the end prophesied long ago by the ancient culture.
Further research will go into the language and will be updated here. Some pronouns have been found, and the alphabet is available. Others will be available to look over as time goes by.

Once a plentiful tree, it now mimics the fickleness of the people that now populated the Planet. Long ago the Cetra were able to bring to flourish these plants with great ease and gentle coaxing, for the trees were as nurturing as their caretakers and wished to give as much as they could. Now? They only gave when they felt like it, choosing strange seasons in which to give blossom their flowers and bear their fruits.
Although called Banora Whites in present day, Minerva remembered a different name which would translate to ‘Night Fruit’ in the common language of Gaia. They were named so for the colour of their skin, which resembled an evening sky. Lovers would exchange vows under the hanging bough of the Night Fruit Tree for good luck and good fortune on their wedding day. One part of the ritual to propose marriage is to offer an apple from the Night Fruit Tree to a prospective bride’s parents, symbolic of the fact that one would be able to provide for the bride and their future offspring.
