Hi friends, long time no chat. Being an adult is hard sometimes and thats okay but that’s not exactly what I’m here to talk about.
Today marks the final day of SIF’s services on both global and the JP servers. As a blog that really honestly found its footing in the game, I just wanted to come on here to whatever audience might be listening and just sort of use this to a. remind you to save your data for transfer to SIF2 and b. reflect on kind of what SIF as a game meant to me as a fan. I’ve spent the last month kind of playing it on and off again as my interests have definitely changed and the games I play have most certainly changed, going back to SIF was something that seemed right at home. Even after playing the arcade cab version of the game, After School Activity, I found myself at home playing SIF again recently. It made me think back to this blog and all the good laugh we’ve had.
Anyways. Sorry to get sentimental. Just wanted to pop in, say hello, and thank that stupid little tap tap idol game that brought us all together.
