oooh em gee!! every time my mind wanders about a piece of media it’s like you already thought about it which is soo cool lol. I finished GoW Ragnarok and was looking for stuff on tumblr next thing you know i see your account n im just like “noooo way?! you too!!” lmao😭
anyways cheers!
I literally just got my copy of God of War Ragnarök and I'm super excited to talk about it more as I play it. I'm happy you guys seem interested!
hello, darling. I wanted to inquire...however what is the timeline for the forgotten reader au. Im rather confused and I loved your writing in the background reader for twst. If you could, please help me link all the posts? Or if you could, just link the first post regarding this. Love yoy from a dedicated reader
I don't plan on writing for the forgotten AU again (at least anytime soon tbh), but I honestly suggest reading the concept first, and then you can find most of the posts linked here. You can also use the tag on this posts to find all the posts about the AU.
Hi ! Your GOW au is so good! But I got a question. What does Atreus think of reader since I think he becomes a little (or not just a little) boastful when he learns the truth about what he is. Would he think lower of reader since they are a mortal? And what does the brothers sindri and Brock think of reader? Because they both have a lot of personality in the game and I wanted to know what do they think of mortal traveling with Kratos , Atreus, and Mimir. You don’t need to answer this question if you don’t want to. Bye!
Atreus's ego face when he learns that he's a god was a big motivator from writing this AU because I find it the most interesting aspect of his relationship with reader.
Before Fey's death, reader is basically an older sibling to Atreus, learning and growing alongside him. Atreus looks up to reader because they seem so "grown up" compared to him, due to how independent they are. Since Atreus grew up sickly and often unable to do much when he was younger, it was through reader that Atreus was able to learn and experience all the things that were often difficult for him. It was a relationship encouraged by Fey and then later discouraged by Kratos. When Fey passed, and reader assumes that they aren't going to be let along their journey, they're only really allowed to come along because of Atreus. When he learns that he's a God, I imagine that Atreus starts to internalize a lot of his father's feelings for reader, especially the more negative ones. In his child mind, it makes perfectly sense that his father doesn't like them because he's a God, and why would a God care for a mortal? He uses that same thought process to justify his anger whenever you help him or treat him like a child. He wants to be treated seriously so badly, so when both you and his father are treating him like the sickly little boy he "used to be", it makes him so angry. With both Atreus and Kratos pushing them away, I see Reader distancing themself as the journey continues, and by the time the portal to Jötunheim is destroyed, Atreus blames reader, arguing that a mortal shouldn't be traveling with them anyway. I like to imagine that at this point, Kratos is actually warming up to reader, especially if they helped when Atreus fell ill.
Brok and Sindri are really interesting but they're another case of "I don't really know how these characters feel about mortals." Similar to Mimir, I think their relationships with the Gods and Giants makes them more privy to non-mortals, while at the same time I think they're way more down to earth if you will compared to someone like Baldur.
Hi! I wanted to ask a question about your gow au if it isn’t too much to ask. But what does Kratos think now of reader after the passing of faye? Does he care about them as much as Atreus or not? And (I think it isn’t spoilers ) but what does mimir think of them after Kratos and Atreus get him? And does reader join their journey to help them throw Fayes ashes from the highest peak of a mountain?you don’t have to answer this if it contain spoilers but I don’t think so since I play gow a long time ago so I know the events (I think) Have a good day/night wherever you are!
Kratos's feelings are very complicated because they're built upon an intense hatred for himself and fear that he's going to ruin everyone around him. He felt that way with Fey, and once Fey changed him and made him into a better man, she died. He felt that way with Atreus, and he could see Atreus become the worst parts of himself. With you, I think he's reminded of Fey and the hope she had for the world and fears that getting close to you will mess that up, similar to how he was absent is much of Atreus's life for the same reason. In a roundabout way, he puts a lot of his anger and sadness at Fey's death on you, almost viewing you as this unwanted piece of their family unit. Kratos is untrustworthy and unwelcoming to those around him, and that doesn't not include you because you're a family friend. I like to imagine that Fey requests you spread her ashes with them after she's passed, and though Kratos doesn't want it, Atreus makes him, and the entire time you serve as a reminder that his family is broken.
Mimir is one of my favorite God of War characters, but I don't really know how Gods feel about mortals in the contexts of the GOW universe. Out of all of them, I imagine he's more receptive, and perhaps a tad bit concerned that you're traveling with them, than the other gods. Mimir likely doesn't really agree with the way Kratos treats you and is likely a large motivation for him opening up to you.
I finished God of War 2018 and totally have plans to play God of War Ragnarök in the future, but as of currently I can't stop thinking about Platonic Yandere Kratos and Laufey with a mortal who they sudo adopt.
What I find most interesting is the angst potential, with Kratos, a man who is terrified of being a parent, and Laufey, someone who desperately wants to live her life completely before her death, never agreeing or even fully articulating how they feel about you. You live in the woods near them, and for a long time, there's an understanding that you live and they live, and there is nothing more to it. But then your parents die, and now you're a child left alone in the world. Maybe you're not exactly a child, maybe you're a teen or young adult, but the point stands regardless. While Kratos travels, Fey grows close to you, teaches and guides you along with Atreus, and while you remain reserved and reluctant to all of this, you become a close friend to Atreus, something that some might call a sibling. Kratos hates it, finds your presence distracting and disruptive. His hatred is born from care, care for Atreus and Fey. All of this births a strange feeling in the household, where it's understood that you're more than a family friend but it's never exactly discussed. And when Fey passes, it's like that all explodes, and what's left are two broken people who are lost and confused.
I honestly don't know if I'll write anything for this, since I feel like I'll have to play Ragnarök for a lot of context, and because I don't know if anyone will be interested, but if you want to talk about God of War please send in asks (just no Ragnarök spoilers).
Just wanted to say I loved your Hail Mary fic and to thank you for writing it. I was wondering if u are going to turn it into a series or make a pt 2 by any chance?
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed my PHM stuff. I don't plan on doing a part two or continuing the fic into a series anytime soon, but I would generally enjoy talking more about Project Hail Mary.
Playing God of War 2018 for the first time and I don't think I'm emotionally prepared for this game.
I don't know if I'll hold up on this, but would you guys be interested in platonic yandere talks about God of War? Let me know if you guys would be interested and what you would like to see if so.
If Reader was to be put in a dorm room with anyone you'd think it would be sphinx Cats? Or any other hairless species? Since they have shared temp needs (aka the heating higher in their room bc no fur). Like it makes sense, and it spares heat money, and saves the trouble for arguements over the thermostat.
Or would reader be alone? Ngl i would prefer to be by myself, i go insane without my personal space.
So in canon reader lives in a single dorm while at school, and while I've seen some people suggest that they would stay with apes since they're human ancestors, but I think that the Cherryton staff would care more about reader's safety in the light of Tem's murder rather than truly unifying them with animals.
Deep down, reader's presence at Cherryton is meant to help their image after a murder and uphold Cherryton's ideals of coexistence between species. Because of this, they're not necessarily trying to integrate reader within the school by having them live with other animals, they don't even push them to join clubs or social events, but they care about keeping them alive so they can uphold their image.
Hello, I've seen your "what's Tamsy like when he's in love" and I'd like to ask if you could do one for Zodyl, please? He quickly grew to be one of my faves
Hope you have a nice day/night!
I think Zodyl views love through the eyes of an experiment rather than a genuine emotion. He doesn't process the feeling as something real inside him, but instead something to be tested and understood. He pushed you boundaries and the depths of both yours and his love for you as a way of "testing" how far each of you will go for each other. For him, his feelings for you always remain the same.
I stand by the fact that Zodyl is creepy. He stares at you for way longer than necessary, he asks personal questions about yourself as a way of seeing what's "too far", he knows too much about you. He doesn't express his emotions very clearly unless it's too overwhelming, so moments of "love" or "passion" are indistinguishable from moments of "sadness" or "anger." This doesn't mean that he doesn't feel love, it just means that Zodyl won't show it clearly. It's likely that Zodyl knows of your feelings before you ever know of his, and he prefers it that way.
Surprisingly or not, I don't see him as being as manipulative as Tamsy, mainly because I think Zodyl skips the manipulations all together and expresses things honestly. If he gets to a point in his "experiment" where he concludes that revealing his true self would lead to a positive outcome, he does so without hesitation. It's so clear that it's easy to think he's joking in the begging, then you remember that Zodyl doesn't joke.
Love with Zodyl is one filled with mystery, not because he's purposefully keeping things from you like Tamsy, but because he's naturally a mysterious person. Zodyl doesn't express himself, because either he's entirely too focused on his own goals, or because there's nothing to express in the first place. He's honest almost to a comedic degree, because if you get to the point of actually being in a relationship with Zodyl, he's trusting you completely.
Zodyl's actual feelings are very confusing. There's no rhyme or reason for how they came to be, there's not some magical moment that caused him to fall for you, he just did. If you asked him what he likes about you, he doesn't have an answer, not because he doesn't like you, but because there's nothing specific about you he likes. He likes you. He'll tell you that there came to be a number of things that he enjoyed about you, but not one thing that stood out. To Zodyl, this is because his feelings are so foreign that he can't understand what's driving him, which is why he takes so long trying to figure out every aspect of them.
Do you still write about One Piece ?
Yeah I do, sorry for taking such a long break, but I'm gonna try and post more regularly now.
Been a silent lurker for a bit and just felt the need to pop in, and say that a good part of your Gachiakuta works/drabbles have really inspired me to continue working on my own characterization (particularly as I am a relatively new fan of the service). I absolutely love taking deeper looks into a character’s psyche and picking it apart to make sense of it so that it is the most accurate I can make it for my fanfics.
Just wanted to let you know! I hope you have a good evening/day/timezone! 💜
Thank you! I actually saw your headcanons for Tamsy and I thought they were really well thought out! I hope you continue your Gachiakuta work because you're a very talented writer.
(Also I just recently caught up with the Manga and I'm definitely GOING THROUGH IT not gonna lie).
Hii :) yknow how we wear animal patterns on our clothes? (Cheetah, zebra, Leopard, etc...).
You think it would be seen as a sort of mockery in beastars? Like, they fear/mock us but then turn around and dress up as us type thing? Or they would see it as some sort of appreciation?
Here's the thing, I don't think animal patterns really exist in the Beastars universe. I could be wrong, but I just don't think animals would really have the desire to wear the patterns of other animals on clothing, even if it's fake. It's one of those things that would just fall out of fashion and no longer exist over time.
This is my ask but are all of your works gender neutral reader 🫡
Yes, I try to write all my readers gender neutral. I am a woman however, so I know there’s a likelihood that I wrote/will write something leaning more feminine and didn’t/won’t pick up on that, and in that case I apologize. I also try to keep my readers race neutral, but again I am white so I know I’ve probably made mistakes here and there.
(Also random but sorry for not really posting recently I’ve been in some of the worse pain of my life after getting my wisdom teeth removed so I don’t really have to motivation to answer complex asks right now).
Hello 👋
I just wanted to say that I really liked your yandere isekay one peace. Could I share my ideas for a spin off?
Yandere isekay one peace, but the reader is from the Percy Jackson universe. If you don't know what this is, it's a book series Where the children of the greek gods (demigods/hakfblood) go to a summer camp to train so they don't die when various Monsters hunt them down and fight two wars, the first against the titan of time ,kronos, and his army, then the Next year, against gaea and the giants
Imagine isekai reader is a child of Posesidon: god of the sea, storm rigger, earthshaker, father of Monsters, father of horses... I think they would fid in great with the one peace universe.
I think at first, reader would try to hides what they are, but there would be some quirks that would give them aguay, like: they know exactly Where they at sea, even the exact co-ordinates; they are a very good sailor, despite claiming to only have been in a boat once or twice in their live; they are a scarily good fighter, with techniques no one has seen before (greek demigod, greek fighting style); some strawhats (Usop) swear they have seen them talking with fish and horses; they are beutiful(greek gods were seen as the pinacle of perfection, they pass the beauty to the kids); their scars, they sometimes worry the crew; similar to the og isekay au, Haki has no effect on them, but observation Haki users can sense them, not as if they were a person but as a pressure like before a storm Hits. All of this without counting if the sea is a somewhat lucid entity.
The sea: I like you, we're having soft tacos later (translates to: you're my child now, you ain't going back)
Althought I think the act of pretending to be a somewhat normal person would end a marinefold or another series Battle. The pirates and the Marine are fighting, when suddenly a huge pilar of water rises from the sea. The fighting stops for just a second, there is boss music (the sound of the ocean doing things that the ocean dosen't do), observation Hakis can only see as the pressure before a storm has transformed into a hurticane. The reader proceeds to either "Ruthlesness " or "Get in the water" (reference to epic the musical, a very cool concept album, I recomend it). They look like a Monsters, and in the moment reader dosen't care, their father is the father of Monsters.
So after that, when the crew gets back together, reader sits them down and explanes what they are. The strawhads (+ ace) have to deal that their BEST friend isn't completely human, a child soldier, half god, and has a traumatic backstory. They give wrap them Up in a blancket , give them some soup and trap them in a codle pile (Also, imagine if theyr fatal flaw is loyalty, do with that what you will)
With the romantic yanderes. First we must point out the irony of devil fruit users falling in love with a child of the sea. Secondly:
Random civilian/pirate/Marine: Look at them! They are a Monster!!!
Romantic yandere: THEY ARE NOT!! AND IF THEY WERE YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LITTLE THAT DETERS ME.
So I hope you like my ideas for a spin off. Also if you go to iceyshenanigans block and fin I ask something very similar... It was me, I got confused and asked them. So have a great mourning, day, noon and night. And keep doing great (sorry if they are some gramatical errors, my first language isn't english)
Sorry for answering this super late, I can’t sleep because of the pain, so I’m answering this on my phone, sorry for the typing mistakes. I think this is a really well thought out idea, I’ve never read Percy Jackson so I don’t think it’s something I would be good with writing about. It’s also important to remember that those like Poseidon have a different context within the One Piece universe, with Shirahoshi technically being Poseidon.
Again, this is obviously really fleshed out, so I encourage you to write it yourself if you are really passionate about this idea.
Also while I’m in pain, how much content does cult of the lamb have?? I’ve bought and refunded twice on steam so I’m likely going to wait for a sale, but I really wanna like the game, I’m just afraid that the game doesn’t have enough content, both in the rougelike and the cult/basebuilding aspects. It’s one things if I get it at 10-15 dollars, but I don’t wanna spend 36+ dollars for a game that I don’t like, y’know?
And maybe I'm crazy, but I find it really silly how so many people are calling Sandrone's design lazy and uninspired but when last year people were advocating for Genshin characters jobs/careers/personalities to be conveyed in their designs y'all said that was stupid and boring.
"Oh so you want Xilonen to be dressed in a welding mask and blacksmiths apron?" Maybe? I don't know, I'd rather her have something in her design to convey that she's a forger on some level? I'd rather her have at the very least some scars and a tool belt if literally her entire thing is that she builds stuff?
I'm not saying you have to like Sandrone's design, I dislike it too since I find it really repetitive. But you can't be shocked when the designs are repetitive after so much of the fandom basically clowned on the idea of the character designs NOT being repetitive.
Also, I'm going to say the quiet part out loud, but a lot of you guys don't know how to critique character design without slut shaming/being misogynistic. If you dislike Sandrone's design because she "looks like a waifubait whore" and not that she's clearly being objectified for a particular audience, then I'm not going to listen to any of your critique.
