How I made my Garnet Bodysuit
A very common question I receive, so I’ll make it easy for everyone and make a picture-y post.
Well, what I used was a footed/handed Zentai suit

Then I used a pair of leggings
Leggings (in Burgundy)

First, I sewed the foot of the leggings shut on the right leg. I flipped it inside out, sewed it shut, curving around the toes. Be sure to zigzag stitch it, because of the fabric’s stretchiness.
The bodysuit is an illusion; it consists of layering. The red leg is not attached to the suit at all.
Be sure to save the sleeves of the bodysuit for the gloves
Hem all raw edges of the cut legs on both the leggings and bodysuit.

So after reflecting on my sour mood and laying on my bedroom floor crying because I can't afford a plus size costume, I've decided it's time. I won't have a goal weight. I won't have a starting weight. I will go with the facts. Here's what I know: 1. My brand new size 24 pants are digging into my stomach and I must lay down or breathe in to get the zipper up. 2. The arch in my feet isn't good, so my feet constantly ache. Maybe plantar issues? 3. My ankles are in a constant state of inflammation and are swollen. 4. I take the elevator at work every chance I get. 5. I am an emotional eater and my teeth ache from the sweets I eat. 6. I am constantly bring told I stop breathing or I'm snoring when I sleep. 7. My 3xl dresses from Walmart make me look pregnant. A co-worker asked if we were trying again. 8. I often feel tired, stressed, and anxious. 9. I have a hard time getting up and down on the floor. 10. I get out of breath easily. 11. I feel comfortable in 4x shirts though they are pretty big one. 12. My legs have poor circulation and go numb after sitting on the floor for 10 minutes. 13. My back often aches. Here's the plan to fix this: 1. Join planet fitness again in January. 2. Start eating relatively low carb. 3. Meal plan on Sundays or Saturdays. 4. Start walking. 5. Join overeaters anonymous. Maybe. 6. Take the first ten minutes of the day to do body weight exercises. 7. Find a therapist. 8. If treating myself, use small portions or a sugar free item. Here are my nonscale goals. 1. Walk three miles in 45 minutes. 2. Fit into a size 20 jeans. For now. 3. Wear a 2x shirt. 4. Be able to wear flats or sandals again without my feet hurting. 5. Feel rested each night. 6. Take one night a week to do something just for me.
Here is what I look like now. This is after a relapse, working too many hours, not enough sleep, and eating sweets. Multiple traumatic events this year that have scarred my heart, caused me to fall, but never to stumble into defeat. I will kick November's ass.
