I know I had my flaws and issues but why couldn't you accept me for those and help me work on them like I did yours? Why did you give up on me the way you promised never to? The way I refused to ever do to you? And over something as stupid as a fight. Over something you did to me. Was I that bad to be with? Was I that easy to just walk away from? Am I really not worth fighting for?

Heartbreak is a funny thing. Sometimes I'll feel like I'm completely over you, other times I'll regret ever letting you get away. Sometimes I'll accept that I deserve better and will find better, other times I'm screaming and crying to some god to bring you back to me. It's always the night thoughts that leave me crying myself to sleep, but sometimes those thoughts like to spend the day with me. And those days are what make me question whether we should really be apart.
