HELLO!!! seeing as phan is legal now, i thought it might be fun and cute to gift the lads a collective happy anniversary card from all of us!!! i'll be making a physical card to collect signatures irl at the october 19th tour date before giving it to dip and pip at my m&g (so you'll be able to sign it in person if you've got gold vip for reading PA!) but i'll also put a QR code inside that links to ALL of the digital signatures collected. link below to sign your name and leave a personalized message to dnp for their 17 years together <333

dnp and team reached out to me with a new concept for dnpb album. Their prompt was essentially “podcast set, but cosy”.
They sent me a couple of ideas that solidified a clear image in my mind. Their pitches were “lounging on an inflatable sofa” “including the lava lamp” “retro imac w/ album title” and most importantly, “Richard balls”
Now, if you noticed, I drew the “plastic pendant light” thingy hanging from the top, but I removed it at the final render. Simply, it didn’t mesh with the rest of the background, so I removed it.

So the elements I added to their ideas were using the pod set as flooring; they wanted to chill among clouds, so I made the lava blobs float like clouds. Now I know the rocket and lava goo look a bit phallic, but what do you expect from a dnp project?
Binary gay stars orbiting each other or whatever in the background: that's what dnp’s souls do when the world ends.
Coloring: I wanted to convey a well air conditioned room, and blue is a lazy relaxed color.
Posing: relaxed, chill, comfortable. Cute with an attitude.

Dan: oh it’s a fucking nightmare in summer, that’s why if I married Phil we would do it in winter so we don’t sweat in our lovely suits and we would choose an idyllic location in the woods and…..
REALLY REALLY ENJOYING the phanscripts game. because they are forever destined to be bad at guessing what words do not exist in their own heads and then we all get to watch obscure younow clips together <3 yayyyy <3
this is so lovely omg!! had no idea they would want to open it on the pod, i was happy we were even able to send it to them at all!! i hope they enjoy the book and/or the series if they decide to check out any more of either 🥹

oh for the love of god they want us to speculate about this that's their entire aim with this. it's probably tour segment related somehow but regardless what it is it could not be any more obvious that they want us to talk about it
hell i'll take it a step further and say i think the reason they made a big deal out of not wanting to get married when hard launching in the first place wasn't to stop speculation, it was to start it. dan and phil are not stupid and they've been on the internet long enough to know that repeatedly announcing to the world how much you aren't getting married is not gonna do anything but make people theorise you're getting married. we can't speculate about the nature of their relationship anymore so they pivoted because they know what keeps this fandom more alive than anything else, and marriage is not some sacred thing to them that they care about enough to be bothered that we're in their business
will they actually get married? who knows! i mean personally i think yes like i think they're probably doing some marriage/wedding related tour segment and then getting married At Some Point after the tour. bonus points of the tour segment is specifically about how they aren't getting married. and i think they will exploit the fuck out of those wedding photos for instagram likes and another popbase feature because again marriage is just not that deep to them and they're addicted to the dramatics and attention of it all
the thing about phil is not that he is a sensitive baby that can't lift a thing, he has the hability and the strength for it, he just doesn't want to do it. which is fair and valid actually
