but don’t underestimate her bc she will throw a car at you without moving a muscle
she was abandoned by her mother when she was young and ultimately, her father had passed away when she was around 6 years old.
it is said that she has a younger brother, though his whereabouts is still unknown
it was later found out by her that her father was a scientist, whose death had been a result of a murder
during her time at the orphanage, she had come to rely on a close friend - clarisse la rue. their contrasting personalities made them the best partners-in-crime.
but then silena’s abilities began to improve; it grew stronger and stronger whenever she practiced alone during isolation time. clarisse found out, of course and they became closer than ever - much to silena’s bewildered glee.
better yet, with the help of silena’s gift - they would ultimately escape together, venturing the city on their own.
fast forward a couple more years with them surviving on the streets together. on her fourteenth birthday, all silena could remember was panicking. her and clarisse eventually became separated during a distressing struggle (basically, during age of ultron) and silena has no idea if she’s even alive or what tbh
at this point, silena is alone and scared. clarisse was her strength, her only friend and the only person she could trust at the time. and now she was just gone.
anyway, fast forward again to modern day scarlet witch silena - who is a rogue. she doesn’t do things for others, she doesn’t do things for the good guys, the bad guys - she is just trying to keep a low profile, much like clarisse had taught her to do in order to survive.
she’s a conartist, among other things, as well
she uses her abilities to keep herself fed, acquire living expenses when needed - without having to work a day in her life and honestly, she’s pretty darn content with everything, minus the fact that she lives in constant fear of being alone forever and having to be on the run for the rest of her life.
because after what she assumed was clarisse’s death and finding out her father’s death had been a murder - she realizes that she could be next and that there are people out there, hunting down people like her
or was her father’s line of work the reason why they were a target? or was it her mother?
these questions would lead her to one solution: find her brother.
that would be her ultimate goal from then on. find her brother, find clarisse’s whereabouts and just try to survive.
but lo’ and behold - some people from s.h.i.e.l.d just had to get in her way
she doesn’t wanna help them lol
but she’s also a pushover SO
