Has anyone thought about how aesthetics are beginning to consist of only one outfit? The best example for this is the “mob wife aesthetic” which only consists of a fur coat, some black tights etc. I have conflicting ideas on this but as a person who (especially in my tweens) always struggled to figure out which “aesthetic” I belonged to it comes as a sort of relief. I think there is a sort of freedom in being able to switch “aesthetics” according to your daily mood. I believe this gives people more space to explore their own unique identity instead of trying to fit in to a specific category for long periods of time.
