Why do you romanticize Roman Polanski?
Can you show me where I have said anything to give you or anyone that opinion? Because I’m sure you’ll find me not being all too kind about him at all and referring to him as ‘goblin’ or ‘trash’. It’s all in my FAQ if you or anyone wants to take a look.
I’m pointing out the obvious here but Roman was part of Sharon’s life and I can’t help that. I can’t help that she decided to marry him. I can’t help that he is pretty much in 50% of her photos taken during the time they dated and during their marriage.
***Keep in mind, the rape case came 8 years after her death and that has absolutely nothing to do with her or this fan page.***
I have said in the past that I like many of his films but I never expressed my admiration or respect for him as a person. Seriously wtf, I’m not Kim Cattrall?
I think it’s important that I make all this clear and that me posting images of Sharon and Roman together is not me ‘romanticising’ him. That’s completely ridiculous.
I will not stop posting photos of Sharon with him. I am also not forcing anyone to reblog or like any photos with him in them, I couldn’t care less.
I’m genuinely glad you asked me this but I would have appreciated it more if you rephrased that question more sensibly. There are a few actual Roman fan blogs on tumblr and I wonder if you or anyone asked them the same question? I mean, it’s pretty clear what this blog is about and I can’t really make that any clearer.
Also a side note - There are a couple of blogs that like to put ‘Roman is a rapist’ under my Sharon photos. It hasn’t happened for a good while but just stop? We know what he is but I only care about celebrating Sharon and I’m happy to see so many of you share the same sentiments.
*ALSO just realising this was asked on my personal blog - wtf. Will be reblogging to my Sharon fan page.*

can you do sharon + blue :D?
I’d love to. I got a suggestion years ago to do a colour challenge with Sharon haha. I think I’ll also make gif sets of every film she’s been in. I’ve never officially done that and it’s loooong over due.
Anyone have any cool ideas for Sharon photosets? Message me or reply underneath. I had a lot of fun with her Margot costume comparison set.

Favorite Sharon Tate movies? :)
It changes from time to time but I think The Wrecking Crew is some of her best work!

Happy Easter, everyone!
I really think that Olivia Palermo has a resemblance to Sharon, the other time I saw some pictures of Olivia with blonde hair walking the streets and she surprised me a lot, besides that when I see Sharon photos without makeup, she reminds me a bit of Olivia. I don’t know, what do you think?
You know, someone brought this to my attention a few years ago. I remember Olivia used to be on MTV but here in Europe, she’s not famous. I had to google who she was at the time but I was genuinely shocked with how much she looks like Sharon.
I think the person who brought it to my attention said Olivia was a mix of Roman and Sharon, like what their daughter might look like and I can definitely see that too.
I think it’s the eyes that are most similar. To me, Sharon’s big brown/hazel eyes are so striking and pretty, deep set, and she liked to emphasise them. Olivia’s eyes are very similar. They also have similar noses. Although Sharon’s is slightly more delicate.
I tried to search for good photos to compare the two (this took aggeesss!). I think I did ok, considering they almost look like sisters. I turned Olivia’s photo into a black and white image to really get the resemblance. What do you guys think?
(The photo above of Sharon is by Ellen Graham, 1969. If you’d like me to post the HQ version, I can do so.)
For me, I always saw Rose Byrne as Sharon’s doppelgänger. I think if a film was made about Sharon years ago, she’d be my choice. Not only does Rose have similar eyes to Sharon, she also has the same face shape. That to me is the main difference between Sharon and Olivia. Olivia has huge dimples and quite a square jawline. What do you think?
just for fun, I found pictures of them with bob hairstyles. Rose has Sharon’s cheekbones too.
Any other lookalikes? Even weird ones? Maybe there’s actresses during her time that might look like her?
Thanks for your question, by the way. I love fun questions like this :)

i would be interested to see comparison gifs. like margot/sharon side by side
I’m glad to see some people wouldn’t mind too much.
And @elizabitchtaylor that’s exactly what I’d love to do. I wish there was more footage of Margot so I could make gif sets but I’ll work with what I have so far.
I’d say once the film gets online, I’m going to gif like crazy. In the trailer, Margot is dancing with a black and white backdrop and it reminded me of when Sharon was dancing behind the scenes of the photoshoot for ‘The Wrecking Crew’!
Question...
How would you all feel if I posted gifs/photos from Tarantino’s new film with Margot as Sharon over the next few months? It definitely won’t be too much and I would purely stick to just Margot as Sharon. I was nervous to do so before but it might be nice, seeing as Debra supports Margot in the role.
Thoughts?
