My favourite part of My Lady Jane is that Jane's sisters are not the steroytpical 'perfect' sisters to her 'wayward daughter' trope. Even Catherine who's more quote unquote 'ladylike' is still down for mischief and helping her sisters and don't even get me started on how much I love headstrong, potty mouthed Margaret who straight up murdered her older sister's misogynistic old pensioner of a husband and never thought twice about it she's the real queen of the series
