I hope book prices drop down soon. It’s been really messing with my reading strategy for my new pets. Also, the new coding changes are no longer compatible with Subetalodge’s lists, which has also made it 10 times harder 😢

To offset my griping, I am happy that custom css images work again ☺️ My custom header is a bunch of Snow screenshots. I missed seeing his stupid face everyday.

Also, I love the new training center. Much better than the old version. I DO wish it could get even more compact lol (among other things), but it’s a great improvement.

And battle spheres are very fun! I feel like it’s made a pretty big difference — especially for Estelle. I’m not struggling as much for the 15 wins.

Vending is definitely more interesting, but I’m not sure if the rewards offset the cost of wiz tokens. But it’s very nice that it’s made wiz tokens more valuable.

The revamp to some of the games have been great too. Safe cracking is fun, but I don’t quite get what the trick is…

I’ve also figured out how to streamline pet reading even further. Not really a Subeta-related upgrade, so much as me figuring it out.

I’m going to be honest, but I really don’t like all the gradients and animations in the redesign 😭 I wish the hover cards weren’t gradients-only or if the gradients were limited to a border. They’re so busy-looking.

Also, I don’t get why all the chance machines art were replaced with the current animated design… it’s so ugly and amateur-looking… I get the art is old, but the current design looks super out of place.

And the animated toe beans on the Subeta logo!? They don’t even overlap correctly or match the style. Like, it’s a cute idea, but the static logo is better! Maybe replace it with a gif if you want to keep the animation.

Welp, now that I’ve made four profiles, my interest in making more is dying down lol. Mmm. I still need to make a new template for my Serpenths, so I could tackle that…

Mamba profile redesign. Left is final, right is mock-up.

Went for a simple design with a narrow column. Downside is, the story looks reaaaally long. I'm feeling too lazy to add anything more, so I might just cut the extra parts of her story or move them into separate boxes.

Since the snake photo I used has yellow eyes, I edited Mamba's overlay to have yellow eyes too.

Finished Snow and Estelle's profiles! I still need to update all the gallery links for Estelle, but I'll save it for tomorrow.

Anyways, despite all the literal physical pain that profile-making has caused me (on top of the literal physical pain my job causes me on a daily basis)—

It was fun. I’m going to see if I can quickly set up Estelle and Snow’s tomorrow. Maybe re-do Sweet Symphony and Serpenth’s profiles too.

I couldn’t figure out how to change the link colors for specific div boxes (it just didn’t work lol), so I added a black BG to it and honestly. I like how the gallery turned out. Very cool.

The Ancient Serpenth is just stunning ❤️ I love the vibrant colors, the cute eyes, adorable snout, and fluffy body.

And that hood! It’s meant to make it appear more menacing, but it really only makes it cuter. My goodness.

Also, it seems like yellow-orange is the most common eye-color for Serpenths? Barring the common colors.
