A/N: This idea of couple Daya and Bosco deciding to woo an oblivious Jasmine popped in my head, and it just wouldn't let go, so here's a little short on that. (:

“I think I want to start dating again.”
Bosco and Daya froze, looking over at the blonde girl who had just dropped that statement then quickly exchanged a look.
The three of them were chilling in Daya and Bosco’s shared apartment, squeezed together on their couch and practically knee to knee. Jasmine and Daya were duking it out on Street Fighters on the Switch while Bosco watched, alternating between cheering on Jasmine and her girlfriend.
“What? Why?” Daya said with a touch of jealousy, eyeing the shorter girl at the corner of her eye as Jasmine carried on mashing the buttons on her controller, completely not registering the other girl’s tone.
“I don’t know, just feeling a little lonely these days, that’s all.”
“Lonely how? You’re always here in our apartment.” Daya shot back, her fingers mashing the buttons harder to defend against her opponent’s finisher.
Jasmine cussed out as her fighter’s finishing move was successfully blocked before continuing her onslaught of attacks.
“Well yeah, but it’s different. You two have each other. You both get to have kisses and cuddles, and then there’s sad little old me that’s just constantly a lightbulb that you’re both entertaining because my sad little ass got dumped on Valentine’s Day, and you’ve both been too nice to turn me away.”
“That’s not entirely true.” Daya muttered under her breath, wincing when Bosco elbowed her in the ribs.
“What was that?”
“What Daya was trying to say is that you know that you’d never be a lightbulb here.”
“Well that’s what you say now, but it’s not exactly what I feel- Damn it Daya!”
Dropping her controller to the side and crossing her arms, Jasmine pouted as Daya’s win flashed across the screen, though the other girl barely gave it a glance as she set her own controller aside.
“Jas, we’ve gone over this before. You’re always welcome here. Hell, we even told you to move in since you’re here practically on a daily basis.”
The younger girl raised a brow, lips pressed into a line. “I thought that was just you being your sarcastic self.”
“She wasn’t, I promise baby.” Bosco chimed in, her hand resting on Daya’s forearm, knowing her girlfriend would probably say something that she would regret in the heat of the moment. “Besides, you did mention that your lease was almost up and you weren’t sure whether to renew it or not.”
Looking over at her two friends as they nodded reassuringly, it only took Jasmine a minute to make her decision and she gave a wide toothy smile.
“If you’re sure, then you’ve got a new roommate! But promise to let me know if I get to be too much and you want me to leave, okay?”
“You know that I always speak my mind.” Daya smirked, her smirk turning into a fond smile as Jasmine threw back her head in laughter.
“Don’t I know it. Let me go call my landlord to let him know.” Giving the couple on the couch quick tight hugs as she passed them and hustled on over to the kitchen for some privacy.
As soon as she was out of earshot, Daya wrapped an arm around Bosco, tugging her close.
“It’s time for the next phase of our plan, babe.”
“You mean sabotaging her plans of dating and convincing her to date us instead?”
i love waking up in vegas 12??? especially when kerri says “No ma’am, you stop this pity party right now. What is the matter with you?” like i can HEAR that in her voice. ugh i can’t wait for the next part i love this so much

“So exactly how long are you planning on hiding out in my apartment?” Kerri asked as she stared down at Jasmine sitting on the floor of her balcony, her arms wrapped around herself.
“I’m not hiding.” Jasmine muttered, her chin resting on her knees as she stared listlessly at the night cityscape. Kerri sighed, settling herself delicately on the ground next to her friend.
She remembered waking up late that Friday night to insistent pounding on her door. There were angry curses in her mind for the unfortunate being that would face her wrath, only to find Jasmine at her doorstep dishevelled in a beautiful gown, mussed up hair, heels in hand and tears in her eyes.
“Baby, you’ve been holed up in here for three days while a certain someone-”
“Technically two days…”
“-has been blowing up your phone with calls and messages.”
Jasmine pressed her lips together, but it did nothing to stop her chin from trembling. Kerri sighed and pulled the other girl into a side hug, stroking her head as she attempted to soothe her.
“They said that they’re in love with me.” The younger girl whispered as Kerri rocked her gently.
“I know.”
“They said that it wasn’t an act.”
“I know.”
“They said that they love me.”
Kerri snorted, having gotten used to hearing what had happened for the past weekend.
“Honey, you’re repeating yourself again.”
Jasmine sighed, taking the hand that was on her head and holding it.
“I’m scared.”
Kerri frowned, looking at her.
This was new. So far, Jasmine had either remained eerily silent or repeated the events again and again, but never had she mentioned how she felt about it all. Despite her cheerful and positive facade and how talkative she could be, when it came to matters of the heart, Kerri knew that Jasmine was more careful about that.
“What are you scared of?” She asked gently, squeezing Jasmine’s hand encouragingly, bidding her to continue.
“What if I’m not good enough?” The blonde blurted, hand squeezing back. “Bosco is just so wonderful. They’ve been so sweet and lovely this entire time. They’re always so caring, and I’ve seen it in the way they treat others too. And look at them. A proper singer that is loved and adored by millions.”
Jasmine looked at Kerri, worrying at her lower lip for a moment, before continuing.
“Kerri, I’m just a washed up dancer teaching kids. I haven’t been able to take on a proper gig in months and was barely able to scrape together enough money for my bills. What could I possibly offer Bosco? Nothing.”
Kerri narrowed her eyes, something snapping in her as she heard her precious friend berate herself. She pulled herself away from Jasmine before slapping her cheeks, sandwiching Jasmine’s face between her hands.
“No ma’am, you stop this pity party right now. What is the matter with you? Woman, you are beautiful and talented with a heart of pure gold, and that is worth so much more than every cent in the bank.”
“But-”
Kerri frowned, shaking her head. “No buts! Now let me ask you, do you have feelings for them?”
Jasmine shifted, trying to turn away from Kerri but the brunette refused to budge, staring her down.
“Well?”
The blonde swallowed before reluctantly nodding. Kerri grinned, letting Jasmine’s face go and pulling her into a tight hug.
“I knew it! No one who agonises so much about someone’s confession wouldn’t have mutual feelings.”
“Yeah, but-”
“No, enough with the buts. You need to do something about this. You both clearly have feelings for each other, so you need to actually sit down and talk about it. Have an actual conversation instead of moping around my apartment. Actually tell them how you feel.”
Jasmine swallowed, reluctantly nodding. She knew that Kerri was right, but she was still scared on the inside. What if it didn’t work out? What if Bosco realised that being with her was a big mistake? That their worlds were too different?
As if reading her mind, Jasmine’s phone started vibrating, a photo of Bosco lighting up the screen. They both stared at the phone on the ground, resting just a few inches from them.
“If you’re not going to answer it, then I will.”
“No, Kerri, wait-”
Ignoring her, Kerri quickly snatched the phone off the ground and dashed into her apartment, Jasmine hot on her heels as she pressed the answer button.
“Hello Bosco.”
Jasmine stopped and stared with wide eyes as Kerri spun around to glare at her, a finger raised in warning while she listened to the other end of the line.
“Yes, our little Jasmine’s here with me, safe and sound from all the big bad ghoulies.”
There was more talking on the other end with Jasmine watching Kerri restlessly as she nodded along and replied in low tones to whatever they were saying before finally hanging up. She opened the WhatsApp messenger, typed something into it and slid Jasmine’s phone into her pocket, out of the other girl’s reach.
So here's an update: I actually finished writing Vegas AU #12 last night, but I'm on the fence on whether to post it or rewrite it completely. I'm going to try and write #13 and see how it goes from there. With any luck, I might like it and have #12 posted in a few hours time.
vera please….. i’m not ready for angst……. i just love them so much and want them to be happy but only bosco talking about their feelings for jas and not the other way around? and that last chapter?? im going to die oh no oh no
But you know what they say, to go up you gotta go down first.
I don’t know if anyone else experiences this, but the first body part that gets affected when I drink are my legs. Like right now my legs are all tingly and I’m starting to feel sleepy.
Hopefully I don’t fall asleep on the train ride home and end up somewhere weird at this hour.

Thank you! I kind of do like it too. I just think that their dynamic would work. Maybe if I can find some time next week, I’ll write a little something. Though I should probably work on the next part of the Vegas AU first.
(Hint: It’s not going to be all rainbows and kisses just yet.)
You know what I’m kinda feeling? Bosco, Daya and Jasmine being together.
Disclaimer: I don’t know if anyone has written something like this yet because I’ve not actually been going through Tumblr for the past few weeks, so please tell me if it’s been done and I’ll lay off on the potential fic. 😅
Like imagine Daya and Bosco already being in an established relationship, the whole best friends to lovers thing going on between them. And then here comes innocent little Jasmine with her being so painfully endearing with how oblivious and socially awkward she is.
Maybe she’s the new girl in the digital agency that Daya is working in, and everything she does just seems to annoy her. When she’s at home, Daya keeps complaining to Bosco about Jasmine, and Bosco just nods along, listening to their girlfriend ranting and thinking nothing of it because they’re sort of used to hearing her infamous rants.
But then one day, they attend one of those bonding family work events with Daya where they finally meet Jasmine and damn do the sparks fly. Bosco can see how much Daya can’t take her eyes off of Jasmine and how strangely overprotective she is of the younger girl. And they can’t blame her either because they’re kind of endeared by how cheerful and positive Jasmine is. Over time, the three of them start getting closer because of their every growing social circle, with Daya constantly acting like a school kid bully with a crush and Bosco being a little touch affectionate with Jasmine.
Cue Bosco having a chat with Daya one night and the two of them coming to terms that they both might have feelings for Jasmine. The main question is then what are the two of them going to do about it? And what happens when they notice that Jasmine might unknowingly feel the same way?
waking up in vegas #11 is so good!!! and now jas knows that bosco loves her, but you just left it on that cliffhanger so now i have to WAIT to find out what happens?? and it all happened because bosco was jealous??? i’m in pain i need to know what happens next agh
