Out of curiosity, how do you interpret Tim’s answer re: buddie? To me it sounds like he’s saying the aim of 911 is different than the aim of a show like heated rivalry, which is primarily focused on romance between two characters versus an ensemble show like 911, but that the relationship between buck and eddie is compelling, but I’ve seen people take his words as a lot more dismissive
i mean. that’s how i read it too. personally i thought it was positive about them.
like the co creator/showrunner/writer ships the ship and is saying buddie shippers aren’t delusional 😭
Okay, I'm gonna do some rapid-fire things I noticed in 905.
Just to get it out of the way, this is the gradient of what we've seen as Buck's blue, think teal shades, and the expectation of Eddie's yellow.
It's the yellow present in the will reveal and the coming out scene, and the blue from the coming out scene that was all over 905.
That being said. Blue and yellow everywhere. And it really was everywhere.
That vase is Eddie's, so is that painting.
Buck's blue to yellow, to bi flag gradient, to Buck's blue, to yellow crosswords.
Buck's door is his blue. So are his windows.
Yellow blanket on the couch. Along with other decorations that are blue or yellow.
Blue hoodie, yellow ouija board.
Eddie in church "testing the waters" was blue and Buck looking for answer was yellow, so they were in each other colors while looking.
Return of the genuine beer. And this is big because the beer Eddie is drinking in the beginning has no brand.
Eddie was wearing the Buck watch for the church and the oferenda, but not for Abuela's death.
That puts him in black from head to toe for the parade. His talk with Pepa is the same color palette as the coming out scene and 809.

The yellow elements in the oferenda, along with the way all the windows are blue. A lot of it would be considered orange, but there is enough yellow.
Chris' room is blue now. It used to be cream.

Just realized that Eddie's a silent crier because he was probably told boys don't cry and to keep it all inside and Buck's a loud crier because it's the only way he could get any kind of attention from his parents . Goodbye
