Hbomb’s DSMP content is unique

Maybe I’m a simp but I feel like Hbomb’s DSMP contents is constantly such a breath of fresh air simply because he has a unique approach to the server as a whole. I feel like his content really provide a sense of community and connection amongst the cast and between the cast and the audience.

H’s DSMP contents are almost always consistently *explicitly* marked as H hanging out with his friends, which is very appealing, especially to those of us who was drawn to the DSMP because they were friends messing around on the server together. H joins the server with the goal to make more friends, and most things he does on the server serves that purpose. Yeah, he got about 2.5 angsty lore streams that I’m still crying over, but even those gear toward how he just wants friends and wants people working together, which is very heart-wrenching and very relatable. It’s just that, H’s videos and streams always show us that “oh yeah, they are all friends and they are hanging out with each other”. Also, because of him wanting to make contents with friends instead of just himself, H also features a lot of content creators who you might not often see with each other, which is just very cool.

H’s DSMP contents are also a way for us as the audience to interact more with the members of the DSMP and not just watching a character. With the lore being more heavy-handed, and there is a clearer distinction between characters and content creators, H’s L’Cast and minigames give us not only a nice break from the angst but also give us back that sense of “closeness” (for a lack of better word?) to our favorite content creators. You can compare H’s streams with a reality show featuring your favorite people, with H as the host who does very well to make sure both the creators and the audience enjoy their time on his stream. H always takes into consideration what his audience wants to see, and talk to chat for suggestions and questions for his minigames, and that makes us feel like we are actively included into his stream as well as gives us a window to talk to H and other members of the DSMP.

Idk I just think he’s neat.
