I can certainly see everyone’s perspective about Lucifer just wanting to shield his brothers from pain, thus stunting them. And I agree with it to a degree.

Slight spoilers for this event below (warning just in case)

I wanted to add, I also think this showcases a different approach to how Pride/Arrogance can present itself. Sure, he doesn’t want his brothers to feel guilt but one line in this current event stood out to me; HE couldn’t deal with watching Michael deal with grief/guilt, so he erased it.

As sad as Michael was, he was managing (and learning). Lucifer completely disregards this because LUCIFER couldn’t take it anymore. His feelings take precedence over everyone else’s. AND GOD IS ENABLING IT!!!

Also, his need to ‘bleed on everything’ with his broken wings and gaping wound is another representation of this thought process. He carries the weight of fault because HE thinks he’s the only one worthy of it (He definitely holds some fault but not all of it). It’s a subtle but very self centered way of thinking.

To be fair, I haven’t read all his cards so you could say I’m shooting from the hip here, but it’s an interesting thought.

I’m curious of your thoughts on this.

I know the change is old news, but the fact that there is no more panty party literally fills me with so much rage… Every time I play this new stupid mini-game, that rage multiplies.

Not only does it suck down your energy EVERY TIME YOU START A LEVEL!!!! The only upside is Solomon seals which basically mean nothing unless you’re at max pity or you just looooove artifacts… And don’t even get me started on keys and pretzels, like wtf😤😤

Ok so I have a random stupid thought…

But like follow along with me for a sec..

What if, in the WHB universe you can get possessed by devils but not like in the literal way that we are familiar with (like exorcism of Emily Rose type sh*t), but instead it’s just Devils encouraging you to adopt different aspects of their lifestyle/personality. It’s not even out of malice, they just want to share what they like with you because— well… they like you. I’d even go as far as to say they can go unseen by most humans when they want and that just makes you look even more insane…

Example:

Beelzebub insists that you need to eat more because he genuinely thinks you aren’t eating enough. He also enjoys eating with you. Which leads you to looking like a freak of nature around other people. Especially since you just cleaned everyone’s plate at the dinner party you were attending. You didn’t use any utensils… He may even encourage you to eat things that aren’t edible for humans at all because ‘it looks like it’d taste interesting’ and because that’s what he would do. Now you’re sitting in the hospital with a belly full of marbles and room full of doctors with judgmental looks on their faces…

Or

Belphegor constantly leaning his weight on you he can’t be bothered to stand on his own. This of course, makes you extra tired since you’re basically carrying the weight of two people. Even worse, he’s always complaining in your ear about how bothersome it is that you have to go to the bank, shopping for groceries, etc… Constantly whining, ‘do you have to do that now?’, or, ‘just do it later…’ The end result? You stay in bed all day and literally rot away with Belphie laying beside you gleefully. Now you have friends and family members worried because ‘you used to be so active and full of life’.

Anyways…

this was just a random thought, kinda stupid and not well thought out at all. Maybe someone can go more in depth on it👀… Also, my punctuation/grammar is probably atrocious (this is not proofread folks) but I thought I’d share regardless…
