Leon's beyond grateful that Sebastian is as good of a guy as he is. Not many people would come to pick up a drunk like him, especially as early in the morning as it is.
Leaning his head against the window, he sighs in contentment as the coolness of the glass helps sober him up, even remotely.
Though, while the question's expected, he slouches a bit when Sebastian asks what happened. It's something he knows he needs to fess up to, and if not to Sebastian, then who?
It takes a moment for him to find the words to continue, but eventually, he manages.
"I, uh... I hadn't seen her since the night she broke up with me. It was the day before I had started my new job as a cop in Raccoon City. When she had broken up with me... fuck, it destroyed me. I'd never gotten so drunk before in my life, but I drank so much that I overslept and everything.
"And as terrible as it sounds.... it ended up saving my life. Raccoon City went to shit that day, and it was the reason I ended up in the line of work I do. She has a family now, two kids and a husband. It'd been so long since I'd seen her, I figured I could at least go say hi...."
A long flow of air seeped through his nostrils.
"She both saved and destroyed my life in a single moment, took away the family I thought I'd have with her... and she didn't even remember me."
His voice began to get thick and his eyes began to water.
"I meant so little to her, she didn't remember my name."
