“I can’t wait til you’re home.” - Cat/Happy
He had been on a run for the last couple of days and Cat had spent her days going crazy at home with nothing to do. Okay, it wasn’t like she had nothing to do but she missed him like crazy. She missed the hot sex and his snarky comments whenever he thought she was doing something the wrong way. She missed hearing him hum in the shower while she was still laying in bed, exhausted after a hot steamy night spend between the sheets. So when his name appeared on her phone her heart literally skipped a beat.
“Yeah?,“ she answered the call. Her voice shaking slightly because it was the first time on the run that he had called and for a moment she had thought that he was dead.
But Jax wouldn’t let that happen. And Happy was Happy. He was hard to kill. Nothing could kill that man.
“Babe?“ his voice sounded gruffly, like it always did and it sent a chill down Cat’s spine, “Cat?“
“Hey, Hap,“ she said, a smile spreading over her whole face.
Cat was glad to hear his voice, to hear him breath. She had already lost enough people in her life. Catherine Winston wasn’t ready to lose the love of her life.
“Hey Baby,“ although Happy rarely smiled, she could literally hear him grin right now and it made her the happiest girl on earth to know that she was the reason that could make the Tacoma Killer smile, “Sorry I didn’t call earlier but we have been on the road the whole time and we got caught in a shooting and things just went downhill from there! I had to take care of a few things first!“

Catherine knew what that meant. She wasn’t dumb. She grew up with the club. The Club was her home. She knew how things went and she knew what her man was capable of doing. He was a killer. But Catherine wasn’t afraid of him. She had to admit she felt the safest when she was with him. She felt safe with him. Happy Lowman was her safe place. And she was his.
“Are the guys okay?“ she asked and Happy smiled on the other line of the phone.
Catherine cared so deeply about those bikers that she often forgot herself and there were a few times where she risked her own life to save a Son. Which Happy didn’t like at all.
“They are okay. Jax, Chibs, Bobby. We are all okay!“ Happy said and he could hear her take relived breath, “I am fine as well!“
Catherine chuckled slightly, “I know you are. I never have to worry about you. And that’s the only reason I can sleep at night when you are on a run because I know that nothing can hurt you. You are invincible, Happy Lowman. And I am so grateful for that. But that doesn’t mean that I can’t wait till you’re home. I am getting really lonely here!“
Now it was Happy’s turn to laugh and Chibs, who was standing not far away from him, shot him a confused look. It was a rare thing to see Happy laugh.
“I can’t wait till I am home either. I am getting lonely here as well. I miss your lips,“ he said with a raspy voice and Cat had to catch her breath.
“The moment you step through that door I am going to ride you senseless,“ she promised and now Happy couldn’t stop thinking about her perfect body pressed against his and the way her ass felt in his hands. Damn, how much he missed that woman.
“Hey yo, Hap’, we gotta go,“ Chips signaled him to end the call because Jax wanted to get to their next destination and although Happy didn’t want to hang up he had to do what his President said.
“You have to leave, right?“ Cat asked quietly and Happy knew that although she acted all tough and hardcore she was scared.
She was scared that he wouldn’t come back from one of those runs. But he had promised her a dozen times that he would always return. That he would always come back to her.
“Yeah, babe, I have to go but I will call you soon, okay?“ he promised her again and he could almost see Cat’s sad smile in front of his eyes.
“Be careful, Hap’,“ she said, the hint of mocking him in her sweet voice. Happy laughed slightly before he followed Chibs to their bikes.
“I see you soon, babe“ When he ended the call and got on his bike he couldn’t help but think that all he wanted to do right now was wrap his arms around his old lady and just hold her for a while. Just to make sure that nothing would happen to her, to them.
