i use paint tool sai to do pretty much everything and photoshop cs6 to edit/add effects/touchups sometimes

HMMM it specifically depends on the piece ur asking for because... i don’t rly have a set way of coloring lol but if u mean the sombra thing i just posted then i traced all of the lineart with the select tool and just. scribbled... the color into it. rinse/repeat.???

coloring rly depends on ur way of linearting i think. im lazy so i just do it like that most of the time :’)

if u mean how i PICK colors... other ppl have always said it better but i never shade with grays/blacks because it looks washed out. instead for shadows i i move slightly around the color wheel in the cooler direction and then go down in the values (i think thats the word?)

i hope this makes even the slightest sense, i’ve never looked into color theory or anything else because i’ve learned everything from trial/error and just messing around /u\
