what a classic tale, where muse a is a rough-guy type, whoâs been on his own since he was a teenager, learning how to navigate the streets. heâs submerged himself into the dark, dank world of drugs and alcohol, and starts seeing everything in shades of dark, because what is light to someone so nocturnal. but he sees muse b, a pretty girl in a pretty dress being pushed around by some guys. he steps in and pretends heâs her boyfriend. the two spend the night roaming the city, learning each other, as sheâs so thankful for his help, having feared the worst. suddenly, he canât get her out of his head. they meet a few times, and sheâs become color in a dark world, where as heâs protective shield against too many vibrant things. nothing feels right without her there, and nothing is okay without him there.
