It's starting to get real!
First off, the new name of the band is Low Score. It's not much of a secret anymore, so blam bwam bam.
Everything is beginning to come together. We're fluent on all of the shit me and Chris wrote before we snagged Jimmy and Matt. Last week we finished our first brand new song as a band, and lyrics are being written for it over the next few days. Artwork is being prepared... and stickers are coming soon. Our Bandcamp page is up, we're slowly working on a Facebook page redesign.
We were seriously hoping for a show to play in December, but there doesn't seem to be any open spots around :( Once we nail lyrics (and maybe one more song) we'll start recording our first single/ep, and get that out in the wild. Expect a digital release via Bandcamp, probably Spotify, and definitely physical CDs.
That's all for now. I'll probably update this a little more often now.

UPDATE: September 15th, 2013
New name. New members. New music. New artwork.
Here we go. Me & Chris have busted our asses, and we finally have our solid lineup. Welcome aboard Matt Madariaga and Jimmy Bacon to the lineup. This is everybody in this band's first pop-punk project, so the outcome should be interesting.
Matt's going to be slapping the bass, Jimmy on the bangers, and me and Chris taking care of guitar work and vox.
This band a has a brand new name that we aren't quite ready to announce. We're going to track some solid demos, schedule our first one or two shows, and when we feel like we're ready, drop the name and all of the new art, the new facebook page, everything. We want to hit the ground running.
Coming soon to a speaker near you? Fuck yes. I'll leave you with a name teaser. ??? ?????.
So, we'll be back at it later this week. Cameron just went on like 13 different vacations or something. We're gonna try to craft up one or two more songs, and we'll start the recording process. Seen above is the template I'm building for the EP we'll be announcing soon.
Jamzzzz on Tuesday!
Next jam session coming this Tuesday. Wednesday we're trying out a new bassist. If things go well, we're going to welcome him aboard. If not, we've got a friend hard at work learning bass.
Also, we need one more strong track before we can start to work on an EP. It'll be a slow process, starting with drum tracks here in VB, followed by recording the stringed instruments in Richmond with our dude Jake, and finally recording vocals at my house. We'll get it done though. (;

Why hello.
Hey there! Figured we'd start this off with an introductory post. (The other dudes don't even know this exists yet, so it's really just me.)
We are the start up of a new pop-punk project entitled Sunday Lunch Rush, just in case the giant banner at the top didn't make that clear enough. I'm not an avid user of tumblr, so the layout will get better with time or something like that.
Currently, we consist of:
Ethan McQuade on guitar/vocals.
Chris Parnoff on guitar/vocals.
& Cameron Burkle on the bangers.
We're searching for a bassist to fill out our lineup. Once we have the low-bro in place we'll be ready for the kick-off. I'm currently writing songs, and I'd like to think Parnoff is as well. While we're working on our "serious" material, we've written a couple of playful songs that may or may not be on our debut EP. On top of those, we've completed three-ish of our "serious" songs.
Sonically, we don't have a particular sound we're aiming for, but we're huge fans of blink-182, Man Overboard, The Story So Far, New Found Glory, Fight Fair, Broadway Calls, Set Your Goals & more. That reaches into nearly all of the genres nooks and crannies, so we're really just going to write what feels right.
Over the next few months, we'd like to get a solid EP together. Our friend Jake, from the punk band Pissing Contest, and I are going to track and produce said EP in Richmond, VA... hopefully this summer.
That's all I've got for now. I'm not sure if this will be a big text blog, or if it'll primarily consist of our videos, but we'll see. Thanks for checking us out!
