jsyk, my queue posts once a day but i won’t probably be here for a while.

But here’s what I would have preferred.

Instead of naked statues in the halls, small alcove-like little domes, patterns of stars and planets and astronomical phenomena decorating its outsides. Inside, cushioned benches, large enough for you to tuck your feet in with you, softly lit by candles placed in colored glass jars. a moment of peace in the bustle of the main halls. A small pool is at the foot of the benches, lotuses settled on its surface, so you can dip your feet and be reminded – meraad astaarit, meraad itwasit.

The throne, instead of being this large, grandiose thing, would have had a sea and sky motif – dark painted wood at the back, carved and painted with stars, and the seat not unlike a boat, with waves curving around its base and edges. And maybe, just maybe, a cetus twined around, so that the viewers know that even in calm waters still lies a powerful serpent.

The bedroom is a place of quiet; it’s for rest, not for work. It has a simple bed with several pillows (under the Qun, when you rest, you REST), cacti and succulents – desert flowers – planted along the foot of it, and more candles in colored glass jars.

Because the Qun is not a grand gesture but a number of small deeds. it’s patience and hard work, and your environment should be made to help you do the best you can. That means rest when you need it, reflection when you can have it, and strength when others need it.

i feel so sorry for all the hawkes that were either blood mages or romanced/befriended merrill and bioware made them so ooc in inquisition that they were unrecognizable
