"Welcome fellow traveler, your legs must be weary. Please,take this gysahl green feathered brother. I hope it helps you somehow!" Said the crimson feathered avian in his native chocobo chatter. It’s been a while since the last time he encountered someone of his own kind. Rojo did not have much, but he was always willing to share with others.

" You can sit down anywhere you want. Please, make yourself at home." Whistles Rojo as he sits down on his humble nest.

Chichiri raised his head as he was listening to the offer and he had to admit it sounded tempting. The offer of the green though was completely irresistible. "Thanks I have been wanting something for a while now." He returned before chomping down on the green. Izana had been holding back on them since Chichiri could be a bit greedy, but that also meant that the bird was hungry easier.

Hearing he could sit down Chichiri lowered his head before making himself at home settling down like it was his stable. It was an interesting place. Not like his stables back home. "My partner left me here while he shops. Suppose there could certainly be worse places."

His mind was in slight jumbles; thoughts not quite coherent. Izana had made his way back to the ranch before stopping at Chichiri’s pen and flopped down next to the chocobo. Blinking a few times in an attempted to push sleep away he leaned forward, burying his face in his partner’s golden feathers.

"Neh, neh Chichiri~" He lazily threw an arm over the large bird in an attempt to hug. If sleep claimed him here it wouldn’t be the first time the solider fell into slumber out here instead of the confines of his room in the barracks.

Chichiri had already settled down to sleep. The stable hands had taken him out, feed him, and put him in his pen. That is why when he heard the stable door open his head raised slightly.

Watching Izana stumble in he let out a long breath. He felt his partner nuzzling against him before calling his name. Why are you out here so late. You are practically dead on your feet. The bird raised his wing that was near his partner setting it over the tired soldier before moving his head back and nudging Izana's leg

"Kweh kwikikiwiiiih. Kiwi!" Chirps the chocobo with exitement as he pecks a kiwi fruit set on a table. The large avian gently navigates the pages of a medium sized dictionary that was on the table and continues to read aloud.

" kwiiiiirometeeeeer!"

The war bird had been left here while his partner was shopping and he couldn’t help but feel just a bit bored by the entire situation. Was this really what normal chocobo’s did with there life? I don’t think I want to be a normal chocobo anymore. "Kweh."

" Kwehkwih?" Chirped Rojo curiously as his eyes catches the sight of the fellow chocobo. He gently approaches and sniffs him very carefully. Who was this mysterious armored chocobo and most importantly, where did he get such an incredibly fashionable yet useful armor like that? He thought.

After inspecting the bird, the crimson feathered chocobo searches on a wooden crate that was nearby and pulled something from it. The item emanated a very familiar scent in the air, quickly taking over the space. A familiar vegetable of reasonable size, fresh from the land. Rojo offers the gysahl green to the armored chocobo.

Chichiri really wasn't sure how he felt about this red bird but didn't move when he walked towards him. Taking a sniff himself he moved back slightly. He smells strange. He thought perhaps it was because it had been a long time since the war bird had been around any normal chocobo's. He was interested though as the red bird started moving away.

Soon as the scent hit the air though Chichiri was standing straight, far more excited as he moved closer to where he was standing. Wait for me? He most likely shouldn't take it, after all that was rude. . . buuuuut. "Kweh?" Can I?

"E-ey!" Her eyes squinted when she felt her hair being tugged on, causing her head to turn upward slightly. She didn’t expect the action, resulting in her dropping the green she had decided to partake in. No sooner afterwards did the soldier feel the bird’s head bop against his own. It was apparant that Chichiri either disagreed or Izana was getting scolded (maybe that was too strong a word).

She let out a small huff that could have sounded like a small whine, directing her gaze back to her partner and puffing her cheeks out. "Ok, ok." Gloved hands raised in surrender. "I won’t be such a downer." Perhaps she had let recent events get to her head. The spell was half way over anyway.

A light hum left her lips before she attempted to playfully shove her partner. "How ‘bout a ride?" It wouldn’t be good to keep dwelling on such things. Besides, how long had it been since they let off some steam? "Bet you’re itchin’ ta run ‘round."

Chichiri hadn’t meant to cause his partner to drop the green, What a wast of a perfectly good green But at least it had the affect he was hoping for. When he heard his partner whine though he lowered his head a bit more to look closer at her.

When the hands raised though and Chichiri was given what he wanted he stood up straight, feathers fluffing up in a show of pleasure, clearly the bird was proud of himself for getting the stubborn soldier to admit something.

The hum though caught his attention and as soon as he heard the bit about a ride his wings were up and a loud call was let out to signal how much the idea suited him. The bird moved around his partner twice, stopping behind her and nudging her left hand over his head. Now you are talking my language.

Then it was settled.

She ran her fingers through the feathers on his head. "Let’s go get your gear, neh~" Boots thumped against the ground when she moved to grab the gear. It made riding the grand bird easier, though at some point she wouldn’t mind attempting to aboard Chichiri without it. Hopefully when she attempted that it wouldn’t hurt her partner.

Grasping the leather saddle she pulled it off the fence post and turned back to Chichiri. The soldier was just as excited, in a sense. It would be just the two of them this time. No mission. No order. Just them being free to do as they pleased.

It hadn't been, but it felt like it had been so long since the bird had gotten to ride out with his partners. Perhaps it wasn't that they hadn't been out but that it had not been free. He lifted his head into the fingers petting him slowly.

Izana was special.

Chichiri knew that as he waited for his partner to get the saddle for him though the war bird realized how special. There had never been a time when he had questioned an order from his partner. Because there had never been a reason to.

Most the birds that Chichiri listened to and saw ran from their riders if they weren't held still, but Chichiri knew that is where they were different. All the other war birds he was stabled with had riders. You are my partner.

As if to prove his internal thoughts Chichiri moved over to Izana and turned wings raised to make it easier to get the saddle attached.

So people can hear what I am thinking for the next few days? Wonder if that means I can get more greens....

//I am really really sorry to everyone I RP with if I can not match your length. It gets a bit tricky with writing Chichiri cause I am trying to keep what he does somewhat realistic and there is only so many things I can say or do in a reply. To those roleplaying with me thank you so much for giving me a chance and putting up with me. I am overwhelmed by the positive response this account has gotten

Chichiri had been resting in his pen when he heard someone come into the stable. His head instantly came up though when he caught the scent. It was one the war bird knew well, almost as well as his partner’s own. Getting up to his feet the bird let out a happy call before rushing to the side of the stable. Seeing he had been right about who was visiting the bird raised his head. It was rare to see him around anymore.

The mission dragged on longer than he had expected. He was so exhausted that when he came back to the Peristylium, the first place he stopped by was the chocobo stables. How is Chichiri doing? was the first thing that popped into his mind. Machina always enjoyed spending time there, and despite all of the labor he still found the extra work relaxing.

A call heard from the entrance indiciated a bird, wide awake and happy, that when the brunette came to the front of the pen it made it impossible for him to not smile no matter how tired he was. As he entered the pen, noticing the familiar scent of the stables he had almost forgotten, gently did the cloaked boy stroke the happy bird’s feathers as if he was the most precious bird in the world. “Hi Chichiri.”

When Machina came in Chichiri watched him carefully. Head on the stable door as he waited for him to get close enough, once the boy did Chichiri made a pleased sound before nudging against Machina side, rubbing his head against the familiar person. You need to come see me more.

The bird lifted his head and set it on Machina's shoulder before his claws dug against the ground. He did miss the days when he could be with his partner and family all the time. I've missed you The chocobo gave a happy kweh though as he enjoyed the affection he was given.

The reapers eyes narrowed as he noted the large chocobo. Initially, he had been looking for Ace, however after discovering he wasn’t in fact down here the male took a short break. Unknown to most, Sice was particularly antsy around the large birds, yet always kept a couple of greens around just for emergencies “…’ey bird” he muttered, noting a box of said flora off to the side “You feelin’ hungry?”

Chichiri felt the tension for the boy that entered the stables and lowered his head calmly. There was no sudden moves from the bird till he heard the offer for treats. The chocobo was a bit in love with the sweet treats and so moved over slowly, lowering his head near the man and making a soft 'kweh' in response. Clearly doing his best to stay calm around the already nervous person.

The war bird raised his head when he heard someone coming in. Hoping it was someone coming to pay attention to him. When a strange person entered though he raised his head a bit. It was odd for anyone new to come to the stables that wasn’t with his partner or the fluffy one. Wonder who he is. "wark"

The blonde stared at the giant bird not far from him. He was coming in ‘cause he thought he could get some sleep, to ran far away from Queen and her extra lesson. Plus, he never get the chance to visit the chocobos. “Whoa hey, buddy.. you’re alone?” Nain would move closer slowly, this yellow bird seems friendly enough though.
