⚠️Under construction!⚠️ This is a Warrior Cats ClanGen inspired blog, using LPS instead of drawing, because drawing hard and I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and finally create a story. :) But for now it's gonna be some fanart :3 It's gonna be a slower start because it's fieldwork season but I keep putting this off as "I'll create when it's good enough" oops ALSO I am new to actually posting so apologies if I seem tech-illiterate.

Howdy!

I'm 4DznSalamanders, you can call me Sal :3

I'm a huge fan of ClanGen comics, and one night all my besties and I hung out, made lil cats, and roleplayed within ClanGen/LifeGen. There was plenty of drama, and since then, the plotlines we conjured have been living in my head rent-free for months.

However, I am incredibly anxious around sharing art and am building up confidence in 2D art skills. Meanwhile though, I thought it'd be fun to translate the stories we told with a sillier medium - custom LPS.

I have not painted LPS before starting this project, so if my ADHD diagnosis wasn't apparent yet, it sure is now lmao.

I have been really enjoying myself though, and to warm up before making my friends' OCs, I thought it'd be fun to make fanart for some of the ClanGens and other cat comics that have inspired me!

I'll add more structure to this blog once I'm able to actually post RoaringClan content, but for now, it's anarchy! (And also I'm originally from Reddit so pls be nice to me as I struggle through tumblr UI).

I love him. He's so gremlin-coded. Amazing comic and I am rotating all the characters in my mind at all times (and will probably be ordering a model to paint for Suncat at some point lol). I started this model in June, but the most recent update pushed me to finish it because AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

As for the crafting - I purchased a bunch of blank cat off-brand LPS. I can't spraypaint in my current setup, and proper mini paint is wild expensive, so I used watered down acrylics. I also had to buy epoxy clay because. Look at him. Guard needs that goatee he's already taking so many other L's in this world

Technically the sun eyeshine shape isn't canon to LPS but it felt too right. Is the sun referring to his biggest enemy or the cat he holds most dear? That's up to interpretation. ;)
