Sister Spotlight: Sister Jeanette Alvarez (FA10) of Epsilon Epsilon Chapter takes the sorority principles of Unity, Love, and Respect into the classroom with her first graders! Jeannette was recently featured by the Walla Walla Public Schools District for her commitment to early childhood education. Of her experience, she says, "I love teaching First grade because it allows me to not only work with children but to make a lasting impact by teaching them to read and write! It is a big responsibility in First grade but the progression made is an amazing process. In choosing this career, I thought about all the children I could bring smiles and laughter to. My ultimate goal is to make teaching fun so that school becomes an enjoyable atmosphere." #LTA1975 #LTAAlumnae #teacher

While I am often the first to point out the very, very, very many problems with Greek Life, for me this is true: my Greek organization and my sorority sweetheart unknowingly saved my life.
