“My leave isn’t due to be finished for another week. Is everything alright over there?” he questioned as he didn’t know about a group of rouge bounts that had survived the attack on the soul society nearly a half a year ago and have been popping up in the world of the living and the soul society gathering support.  Around a new threat. “Do you want me to get my dad involved?”He asked curiously to the other as he sighed.  He should learn by now that peace never lasts...

Renji wasn't in his top form the first time the Bounts attacked. However, that wasn't the case now. He was more than ready to give it his all, as he was sure Ichigo would also do. "Tsh", Renji brushed, looking ahead. "Not a single leaf or tile out of place. Can't help but wonder if they've found a place to hide within Seireitei already. Right under our noses. Assholes." "I don't think that'll be necessary. All the Captains are on constant vigil, anyway. How are things on your side so far?" He asked, now looking over at the orange haired Soul Reaper.

Ichigo looked gently at the other. “Yea sure. Things are fine. But. Why. —- are you here? Byakuya send you for me to return or wha”he said “I said I would be back when it was done.” Not knowing he was a couple days overdue to return anyways.

Renji turned his head to face Ichigo, perplexed. "You're in my World, remember? I belong here." He replied. A few moments later, the 6th lieutenant wondered if Ichigo meant here in Soul Society, or here in that place in particular. "I'm doing rounds. Captain Kuchiki is home. I guess. Have you seen Rukia, or the others?"

“Oh. Alright then. You want me to bring you back anything reasonable from the world of the living perhaps?”he questioned as he laid on his bed looking up at the white ceiling.

“Get off me you idiot “ he said as renji was on top of him

"It's your fault, you get off me!" Renji yelled back, pushing Ichigo away.

Ichigo looked to the other as some of the other squad members were asking to participate in help train the newest LT. Probably sizing me up...but with little to no sleep training ... “I’m about to collapse... “he stopped as he stood up when Byakuya came in for a strike. He almost blocked but the reaction timing on his part was too slow and he got cut on the shoulder and he backed up putting Zangetsu on the ground as a means to stop skidding backwards. He looked to Renji as he was the one he was paired with for the training. “Any bright ideas”he said as he dodged another as he lost his footing and fell back a bit before standing his ground.

Renji knew his Captain well, knew his moves, knew his attacks, and how and when he'd plunge. However, that time was different. Working alongside Ichigo was complicated due to his personality - the redhead was sure Ichigo thought the same. Nevertheless, that was expected, so Renji tried to adapt, hoping the new lieutenant would do the same. "Captain Kuchiki's advantage is speed." He started, Zabimaru in hand and his piercing eyes on the high and might Byakuya. "Just keep your eyes open for the Senbonzakura."

He had an idea. “Renji.”he started when he saw Byakuya disappear. “Damn focus kurosaki .”he said to himself looking to where the other would appear. And then out of no where he heard a snap behind him as the other had used flash step and he felt an sword against his neck. “This match is over. The Lt’s have failed the 72 hr challenge.” He just saw the captain walk out with out a word. “Damn”he fell back on the ground “I could sleep here”he said half joking.

Renji accompanied Byakuya’s movement almost perfectly, but the captain’s Flash step was too marvellous to see through to the end. While he did see Byakuya move to strike him, his captain curved his step to go for Ichigo instead, and the match was lost. They never stood a chance. Renji let out a pained grunt, and fell to the floor next to the his fellow lieutenant, while Zabimaru retracted. “It’s your fault, y’know.” Renji provoked, his eyes on his captain as he walked away. “You could’ve seen that coming.”

“My fault. Come on. Are you serious. At least I didn’t have hundred or so years to see that. You could have blocked to. You know. “ he rounded. He was letting his lack of sleep get to him. “And I just became a lieutenant. Remember.”he glared at the other. “I’m to sore to move. You?”

“I - Don’t care— I have to go.” he said as he started walking out of Squad 11 barracks and he sighed. “They didn’t diveluge why I was needed… I just got to go.”he said as he started to make his way towards the sekikimon.

Yachiru  sighed looking over at him as she had appeared on his shoulder. Which was as it were, was her favorite place to be. Always by her captains side.  No matter what. “Kenny he getting away. Shall I go stop him. HE has training today with you?”She asked her captain curiously as she hated when Ichi disrespected the captain like this … Specifically when she knew Kenpatchi loved training Ichigo because of how strong he had become ….

“Che… damn kid.”

Kenpachi watched Ichigo bolt off, a frown creasing his face. There was a lot of power there, raw and untamed. But the kid lacked experience. That was what their training was supposed to teach him.

Fuck if he knew what the hell else to do.

“Stay here, Yachiru,” he grunted. “Make sure the squad stays reasonably in-line until we get back. Run ‘em all through drills or something, I don’t care. We’ll take care of whatever this problem is.”

Feeling his Lieutenant leave his shoulder, Kenpachi strode forward, his long legs helping him gain on the teenager.

“Ey, Ichigo! Not so fast; you ain’t leaving without me.” he growled. “We’ll see whatever the fuck yer friends need, fix it, and then get back here ‘n train harder than you have in your life.”

She nodded and went to find ikku as he was third seat and ichi was fourth seat now. After a bit she felt the twos pressure disappear through the sekikimon.

Ichigo had almost rounded the corner, and was about to use another flash step to go faster towards the gateway when he heard kenpatchi’s statement about him going with him and also about the extra training session that he would have to endure when he got back for the insolence he had shown in leaving early with out permission. When they arrived at his dads clinic he noticed all the lights out and door opened. Of course he was in his body once again for this trip. Opening the door gently and cautiously he called out “I’m home?” He said as he knew kenpatchi was next to him when he felt it. Usuall dad gretting.

Ishinn had not seen Ichigo now for about two months since his last visit to them and he did his usual dad greeting only to meet pavement “back to old spirit I see son.” He said as he noticed the other now Zaraki. How would the other feel if he had just requested Ichigo to be home. So that his friends could see him as they missed him. Nothing pertinent had happened. At least on the spiritual front. He just wanted his son to have a balanced life outside of the soul society. “Zaraki. It’s been a long time.”he said honestly to the other and brushed himself from the floor. And extended a hand to the other. “I thought Ichigo would come alone. I see I was mistaken. Anyways your welcome to stay. Kenpatchi” he stated to the other as he didn’t know what his friend would think after seeing him for the first time in a long time.

Orihime and Chad came in now and she hugged Ichigo tight. “I hope you have been alright over there. Oh I brought your school work as well. “She said as she started to ramble when Chad gently put a hand on her shoulder. Ichigo glanced to Zaraki as he was going to go through hell the next few weeks now for a false alarm such as this. He just knew it. Now he wanted to stay here and maybe find something to do to delay them going back. And delay the severe training sessions that would endure in the coming weeks.

Toshiro and him had been at it for about a day or so now of almost non stop training regimin between him and Rangiku switching off between each other against him. “Toshiro -- I --” he said as he was panting hard as he looked at the other. “Can we stop for now?”He questioned as he looked to the other as some of the other squad members were asking to participate in help train the newest LT. Urgently Need?

Ichigo was in the world of the living for some time off, since he had passed his training and was officially credited with Squad 6.  His dad was there for the ceremony and then they left back to the world of the living to celebrate for a bout a week or so.  He had been in class at the time when he heard his soul pager go off.  “May i be excused for a moment... Teach’ He said to his teacher and when he nodded he walked outside. Then he saw Renji. “What the hell are you doing here ?” He asked curiously.

In the following weeks he had gone on with business as usual. Though, right at the exact time Kurosaki’s break was to end he headed out toward the World of The Living. Approaching, he walked down the hallway of Ichigo’s school, dressed in the same standard uniform as the other boy. Tucking his hands into his pockets he paused just as the other rounded the corner, staring up toward the strawberry blond, dull teal eyes locked onto the others “No shit.” He responded, squinting slightly. Hearing someone whisper on how cute he was he turned slightly, looking over toward the girl and then turned back toward Ichigo “You have had enough time to study, I assume.” Narrowing his eyes, his head rocked a little bit as the taller male rubbed his head like some pet “It has been thirteen weeks.”

Toshiro reached up to grab Ichigo’s wrist, gripping it tightly in his own hand. He was tired of this. Maybe it was time to start biting taller people “It’s time.”

“Toshiro, you don’t mean now .... Now ---” he questioned pausing as he collected the rest of his thoughts. “We are finishing exams today and tomorrow yes.. “He added as he didn’t know how to tell the other that he had to do a make up one tomorrow to replace the ones he have missed when he was on missions for one of his classes.  That was Geometry ...The worst subject in his opinion.   They were getting looks from the other students left and right as he was pulled by toshiro out to the main courtyard where he saw Rangiku in an less then regulation uniform. 

“Captain” she waved to the two to flag them over as she smiled as she grinned to Ichigo. “Thought I’d come and help strong arm him if need be” She said even though she knew and Toshiro knew she was only here to get out of doing paperwork that was probably piling up as we speak. As it was soon to be the annual rest period in the Gonti 13 for a weekend nobody was required to do any paperwork unless it was deemed urgent as the Captains usually put on an exhibition match for all to see during this time periods as well. Although the 10th was not to participate this year as they were going to be retraining the substitute, now officially a lt .. under herself.   Which meant she could dump the paperwork on him if she wanted to later on and get some well deserved time off.  

“You didn’t need to bring back up ... I -- um -- Just forgot ...”he fibbed as he half wanted to stay here ...

It doesn’t surprise her that he’d finally let himself weep, even if just a little. Yuu can feel the dampening of her shoulder, his tears finding shelter against her as he held on. She’d hold onto him for as long as he’d need. Slender arms remain wrapped around him, hugging Ichigo against her petite frame. Yuu leans her head gently against his and sighs, relaxing herself against him.

       “ I’ll be here no matter what, Ichigo. I promise. “

Ichigo looked to Yuu and he layed with her in the bed all night ... They weren't playing around or anything like that. It was just nice to know that she stayed with him. Comfort him through all these changes that were happening to him. Ichigo woke up the next morning to see her still there. He got out of bed and covered her in it as he went down to see what the others were up to to let her sleep.  He should have known or sensed something was up but was hurled into the stairs by his dad. “WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR YOU IDIOT...”he growled as he got up and the two started fighting. “Figued you might be a bit down so i could get a hit on you today. And you are losing your touch aren't you "he recoiled as he rebounded and attacked again. Ichigo dodged.

“Will you shut up --- Yuu is sleeping "He said as he felt his dad put him in a choke hold and then he sliped and did the other to his when he heard footsteps. ”Bastard” he said jokingly to his dad and then felt himself on the floor. “Great--”He said as he knew he was off his game after loosing his abilities .. .Didn’t mean that he had to get beaten up about it down here..

He wasn’t sure what it was, but man it was tasty. “I needed a place to crash and yours is comfy enough.” Yes. Unfortunately, neither did he remember Ichigo’s training schedule; which in practice, made sense. And while he’s omitted that specific part, Ikkaku was fairly certain the orange-haired could deduce that – his stay in the World of the Living was because of a quick mission.

“Besides.” He started, “you’re under Hitsugaya-taichou. Why should I know your training schedule?”

“Sheshhhh. Who died and made you head captain”He said sarcastically. And he paused.  “Wait... you -- I don’t have room here for you ... The only reason Rukia camped here is -- “He rubbed the back of his head. “She.... IT was unintended and she forced her way in here.  I don’t want you here.. Stay at Urahara” he added firmly. “Or do i have to call my dad. Former captain of the Tenth?”he asked grinning a bit to the other at this statement. Now that his dad told him what mostly everyone else knew it was just him in the dark, he was proud to be called Isshin’s son ... Even though he didn’t show it most times.  He was proud of the old man.
