We’re looking for brilliant actors to join our little audio repertory company. We’re recording an adaptation of A Christmas Carol for broadcasting on Spotify (and hopefully other platforms) on Christmas Eve. At the moment it’s a zero budget production, but hopefully if it becomes a success and actually turns a profit, then that will be distributed equally to all performers. Right now however it’s just for fun and the love of performing.

Look, this is going to be THE cinematic event (for Wrexham) of the CENTURY! Ryan Reynolds? Rob McIlhenny? YES! Those ARE two big name stars with affiliation to Wrexham. Are they in this film? NO! Of course they’re not, don’t be daft! Will they get to see it? YES! But only if YOU back it! Then I’ll move heaven and Earth to make sure they are able to see it! (I’ll link to it and tag ‘em obviously - what did you THINK I meant?

Seriously though, while I’d love for them to back the film and even make a small cameo in it (I mean, I’ve written a part for Wayne Jones from The Turf, so OF COURSE I’d love them to be in it) I know full well that it’s never gonna happen. But the film itself could happen. And it SHOULD happen. Why? Because like a stick of local rock, it has WREXHAM written right through it! So come on. Let’s make Werewolf of Wrexham happen.

Hello There,

I have a really good friend in America who has lost his home and possessions in the flooding caused by Hurricane Helene, so I’ve set up a Gofundme for him to try to raise funds so he can get back on his feet. I’ve set the target at $1000, but hope to raise more.

Look, this guy is one of the most genuine, funny, talented and caring people I know. He has a teenage son who also lost his valuables to the flood.

He lost pretty much everything in this disaster, even his cat who sadly drowned.

So I’m asking for your help. Please please please share the link to the fundraising page and, extremely cheeky of me I know, perhaps you’d consider bunging a couple of quid to help reach (and hopefully exceed) the target.
