Finally got a chance to install a @google #Nest Camera Outdoor and I have to say Google is a very good software company. Well we've officially made it through our first KCP&L Rush Hour day this year after hitting 102f with 76% humidity. Honestly it really isn't that hard to turn your thermostat back a couple degrees for a couple hours during the most miserably hot days, think about the lineman that have to deal with the overtaxed grid on these days. It was pretty hot and it seems like all my customers want us in the attic so I have an idea what they go through everyday. 🌡️🔥😥 . On another note if you live in Missouri and have KCP&L as your power company you should really consider asking for your free Nest thermostat. This is truly the best looking and functioning thermostat out there. I picked up this little wireless puck light kit on Amazon from a little company called #ZEEFO. When pair with a set of AA rechargable batteries it fits my need perfectly. I turned this dark nook into a fabulous place to store my little finds from #belize and #newfoundland . I've been eyeballing these flame bulbs so I bit the bullet and decided to try them out. I don't personally have a medium base coach lamp on the front of my garage but my customers often do and I like to try things out before I recommend them. The glass on the fixture will help a lot with the effect. I feel like it might move just a bit too fast to be realistic but from afar they really do cast a very convincing flame pattern on the wall. These bulbs so come apart pretty easily so I would probably avoid hanging this bulb upside down. . Have you tried this type of bulb before? Just picked up this amazingly loud and clear portable speaker from Aukey. It really is amazingly loud! It brings me back to the trusty old boom box days. It feels dense like a brick and is water resistant meaning I don't have to worry about rain on the jobsite. I can't wait to work at a loud construction site so I can blare my tunage 👨‍🎤👷 . . If you're looking to make that elastic clothing really last you should seriously consider air drying your clothes. I can say with experience this really works, I've got stretchy pants and underwear that's well over two years old and still looks very good. If you're anything like me the thoughts of hanging your dingies outside is enough to make you not mind buying new ones every 6 months. Thank goodness for this .Gideon clothesline, I can now hang my clothes and simply retract it when not needed. This is how I unwrap the softest blanket I currently own. I can't tell you how long it'll last yet but I sure can say one thing it is very soft. I used to own chinchillas and this blanket is darn near as soft as they were! Really did some digging and found this very nice Bluetooth speaker for my father in-laws computer build. It really sounds amazing, the little triangles vibrate like an old school subwoofer. I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the way it screams at you when it's turned on though. I don't know why manufacturers feel it necessary to tell you what function is currently on, especially when this one has a screen showing you this information. At the very least make it so you can turn this "feature" off. I've used the round clip on style speakers in my shower for quite some time now. I wanted a better sounding one for the jobsite though and this is what I came up with. I am very happy with this purchase, the sound is actually louder and clear than I expected. It is IPX7 rated so I won't have to worry about leaving it out in the rain or accidentally dropping it in a pool or puddle. In fact it actually floats and could be used for at the pool. What's in that bag! . . I've been looking at replacing my toy bag for a while now. It was getting kinda old carrying around my giant hiking bag all the time. So I opted to try a messenger bag from #gootium . I'm amazed! Everything fits perfectly. They really thought it through with lots of pockets. The material is very soft and durable feeling. I know it's not waterproof by any means, I usually try to avoid the rain anyways. Perhaps I'll get a waterproof cover to stuff in one of the empty pockets. Well, I did it. I bit the bullet and replaced my old broken work van power inverter. First, I verified my 18v Rigid quick charger would work and I'm pleasantly surprised that I can actually plug two charges in now plus I've got 2 additional USB ports for charging my work lights. I am very pleased with this purchase. Aukey sent me this amazing little battery touch lamp to test and I have to say it is absolutely amazing! I can't wait to use it to light a tree or rock at night, it should work perfectly to make some very unique pictures indeed. It would be perfect for a child nightlight. It gets very bright and dim. It has a cool white (seen here), warm white, and an RGB setting. It is rainproof and this is why I think it will work perfectly in my camera bag. . .
