aidenharpcr:
“Right. No need to get defensive then, babe.” he groaned, rolling his eyes. No matter what the brunet said, Aiden knew Dante was a threat to his relationship, and it was hard to not let that bother him. The new guy was smoking hot, plus he could give Lucas’ the one thing he couldn’t give him. “What do you mean, he tried to beat you up?” he furrowed his brow, concern etched into his features. “Why didn’t you tell me that earlier?” He asked, sounding slightly offended. “Whatever, I’ll deal with him tomorrow. That shithead will be sorry.” His eyes narrowed when Lucas asked him why he wanted to make a deal with the devil, unsure whether his boyfriend was actually that dense or if he was trying to spare his feelings or something. “Nothing. I was just joking. Relax.” he replied, his expression softening slightly as he met Lucas’ gaze again. Although he was still annoyed, he also realized that being moody to Lucas would only push him away. Besides, it wasn’t like he needed his help to steal a book from his teacher. Aiden inched a little closer to younger boy and lifted his hand to stroke his cheek. “I love you, Lucas Hawthorne.” he whispered, before pressing a soft kiss on Lucas’ nose.
Giving another shrug of his shoulders, Lucas added, “I ran into him in the library. He took me by my shirt collar and was being kinda mean. I was fine though, handled him myself and all.” Though Lucas wasn’t exactly happy with how he got himself out of that situation, he was relieved he was able to. Guys like Dante had always made him a little anxious; having a way to defend himself was reassuring... even if he didn’t know how to use it yet. “Try not to be too harsh with him, okay? He’s still apart of us now, Aiden. We need to learn to get along with him.” Lucas insisted, not wanting another angry outburst from the larger boy. When Aiden inched closer to him, a content smile spread on Lucas’ features. He leaned his head into the hand that was stroking his cheek and crinkled his nose after Aiden kissed it, “I love you.” he said, smile stretching in to that of a wide one.
aidenharpcr:
Aiden didn’t react when Lucas’ cuddled up to him. He wasn’t in the mood for it, but didn’t want to push the boy away either. “Yea.. him.” Aiden replied softly, his chest tightening when Lucas confirmed that he found him attractive. “Right. I figured, with the way you were looking at him and all…” Tucking his arms under his head, he continued to stare at the nothingness the ceiling provided. “Not really.” he said in response when Lucas fired the question back at him. “He seems like a jackass to me. I was thinking about teaching him a lesson. Lure him into the woods and tie him to a tree or something. Maybe tell him that we’re gonna sacrifice him to the devil.” A devious grin played on his lips. “The latter doesn’t even sound as such a terrible idea to me, actually. Do you think Adam has any books on that hidden in his room?”
“I wasn’t looking at him any kind of way.” Lucas quickly defended, giving a shake of his head. “And you’re right, he is a jackass. He nearly beat me up earlier, it was terrifying. However, just because he’s a major asshole doesn’t mean we should keep screwing with him. He’s gotta live here with us, you know. Making bad blood will only end badly.” Lucas added, tilting his head up so he could smile at Aiden. “Even if Adam did have books like that hidden away somewhere, he’d probably never let us have them. Besides, what could you possibly need that makes an actual deal with satan worth it, hm? Just try to play nice for now, please? Once he adjusts to being here and accepts what he is hopefully he’ll get easier to live with. Until then, just ignore him and put your energy towards more important things.”
aidenharpcr:
“Does it matter what time it is?” Aiden chuckled, swinging his left leg over Lucas’ hips to straddle him, before leaning in to kiss him deeply. “I knew you missed me and that you were longing for me.” he purred when he broke it off, pulling away from his mouth to trail kisses down his neck. Deep down he knew he had to cool off now before things got out of hand, but resisting the urge to have sex with his boyfriend was becoming harder and harder each day. Adam had tried to help him, through spells, potions, conversations… but so far nothing had made his cross easier to bear. Not that Aiden had been the most cooperative with his teacher, as he was far too stubborn to accept that this was his life now, and that he would never have sex with anyone ever again. Not only was he highly sexually frustrated, not having had any sex over a year now, but he also felt humiliated. As much as he tried to hide it with fake confidence, it was hard for him to see himself as anything more than the boy with killer penis. A freak. A murderer. It would only be a matter of time before Lucas realized he could do much better, especially with the new guy at school.
Aiden abruptly stopped sucking on his boyfriend’s neck and got off of him. Without saying a word, he laid down beside him again, but avoided his gaze by staring at the chandelier that was hanging from the ceiling. “Do you like him?” he asked softly, finally breaking the awkward silence between them.
Lucas gave Aiden a strange look when he stopped what he was doing so suddenly. He watched as the other laid himself back down beside him; scooting himself closer when he could so he could wrap an arm around Aiden’s middle and lean his head on his shoulder. In response to Aiden’s random question, Lucas gave the other another confused look. “Do I like who?” he asked, lifting his head to look Aiden over. “The new guy? I guess he’s okay. Aside from how he looks, though, he’s really given me no reason to speak highly of him so...” ending his statement with a shrug, Lucas rested his head back down. “What about you, do you like him?”
Even though it was very late and everyone had already gone to bed hours ago, Aiden was far too restless to sleep. As usual, he missed the feeling of a warm body against his, and the urge was becoming so strong that he could no longer bear it. After he put on his robe, he sneaked out of his room and headed towards Lucas’. Carefully, he opened the door and closed it behind him, not wanting to wake the others. “Lucas?” he whispered softly, but the younger boy was fast asleep. Not letting that discourage him, Aiden moved swiftly towards the bed, dropped his robe on the floor and laid down beside him. “Hey, beautiful.” he breathed against his lips, before pressing his own against them.
Lucas felt his bed shift from the extra weight of another person climbing into it. Just before he was able to open his eyes to see who it was, though he figured it was safe to assume it was Aiden, he heard the whispered greeting. Returning the other’s kiss, Lucas opened his eyes and gave Aiden a sleepy smile. “Hi” he whispered back, hand already searching for Aiden’s in the dark so he could intwine their fingers together. “What are you doing out of bed? What time is it?”
dcntevasquez:
“Whatever. I don’t care about apologies. And I have every fucking reason to be mad. I don’t belong in this shithole.” Dante grumbled, shaking his head. “I’m not one of you people! Never have been and never will be! But I’m not scared of you either, so I’d watch that mouth if I were you, freak.” He threateningly took a step forward and grabbed the other boy by the collar of his shirt. “Witch or no witch, I’d kick your ass any day of the week. You get that, right?”
“Oh yea? If you don’t belong in this shit hole then why the hell are you here then? You had to have done something to make them think you belong here.” Lucas muttered. When Dante took hold of the collar of his shirt, Lucas let out another yelp. He tried to shrink back, face scrunching up as he braced for impact. “Yes! I do! Don’t hurt me though, please. We have to live in close quarters for a while, let’s not start off on the wrong foot, please.”
dcntevasquez:
Dante pressed his nails into the book cover, trying his hardest to stay calm. “I’m fine!” He snarled through gritted teeth. The boy seemed frightened, but he knew better than to trust any of these Harry Potter wannabes, especially after they scared him half to death earlier. “Could you piss off now? I’m not in the mood to deal with any of you freaks, okay? What part of that don’t you understand?”
“You don’t sound fine. You sound kinda, I don’t know, mad or something...” Lucas mumbled before his eyes widened. “Which you’re totally justified in. Some of those guys can be jerks. I’m sorry they did that to you earlier.” he added softly. However, his eyebrows knitted together as he looked at the other. “Firstly, we’re not freaks. We’re just, like, special or something. And you’re basically one of us considering you’re here with us now. Secondly, this is a public library and I write here everyday. Which includes today, sorry to burst your bubble.”
After being hazed by his peers, Dante urgently needed some alone time, preferably far away from the freakshows he was going to school with. He knew that if he didn’t, one of them was going to end up getting hurt and as much as he already despised them, he didn’t want any more blood on his hands.
Of course there was no gym in sight, not even a damn quidditch field, which is how he ended up in the Academy’s library. Wandering through the stacks, he inhaled the musty smell of the leather and paper of the books and scrunched up his face in disgust. The whole atmosphere of the room was giving him the creeps, but for whatever reason he found himself drawn to it. It struck him as odd as he had always hated reading, but one book in particular was giving him strange vibes, as if he was meant to pick it up and read it. The text on the cover wasn’t written in English or Spanish, but he knew what the words meant. Transfiguration. It made him shiver for a moment, and he opened it with trembling hands. Suddenly he heard footsteps coming up behind him and quickly closed it again before he turned around. “What the fuck do you want?” he huffed.
Lucas usually spent a lot of time in the library their school had to offer. It was quiet, and he was usually able to go undisturbed there; save for whenever Oliver popped in or when Aiden came to bother him. It was a nice place for him to go to get some writing done. He entered the room with a stack of loose papers, a notebook, and some pens clutched in his arms and he headed towards the back to his favorite table in the corner. As he approached, he saw the last person he expected to be in there; that very large new kid that they decided to bother earlier. The hazing was never something Lucas was fully on board with, however he new better than to protest. About ready to greet the new boy and offer an apology, the other whipped around; startling Lucas quite a bit.
Letting out a short yelp, Lucas’ hand flew up in front of his face in defense. the things in his arms falling to the ground in the mean time. “Nothing! Just coming to write! I’m sorry! It was their idea! I didn’t wanna! I swear it!” Lucas rambled quickly, hoping the larger male didn’t choose to hit him or something. Before coming to this school Lucas had had his fair share of experiences with guys who looked like this; none of which were pleasant. “Are you okay though? I hope you’re okay. Are you okay?”
aidenharper:
Aiden’s lips curled into a small smile when he heard Lucas being at least somewhat open to accepting Arthur’s apology, but at the same time it didn’t sit well with him that Arthur insisted they were just friends and that them having sex was just a one time thing. As he filled a bowl with the popcorn and looked around the kitchen to come up with another idea, he decided to just grab the bottle of wine and bring it with him to the living room. Nothing like a little alcohol to ease the tension in a room.
“Missed me?” he asked with a grin as he peeked inside the living room. “I’ve made some popcorn. Thought you two might be hungry by now from throwing shade while I was gone.” Aiden chuckled as he walked back inside, holding the bowl, the bottle of wine and a glass for Arthur in his hands. “Could you scoot over, babe?” he asked Lucas casually, wanting his boyfriend to sit in the middle.
“We weren’t throwing shade.” Lucas grumbled, his eyes following his boyfriend as he re-entered the room. Arthur hummed in agreement, giving a nod of his head. While the conversation wasn’t necessarily pleasent without Aiden, it also wasn’t bad. “It was actually going pretty well in here.” Arthur added, a comment Lucas only shrugged along to. Both Lucas And Arthur eyed Aiden when he asked Lucas to move, however Lucas complied anyway. He gave a fake huff to act dissatisfied with the request, but was actually rather okay with it. Aiden not wanting to sit beside the enemy was a good sign in his book.
“What took you so long anyway?” Lucas asked, reaching up to take the bowl of popcorn that Aiden was holding and offering it to Arthur for him to take some. His attitude toward the other individual starting to lighten, since it was seeming more and more like things were pretty okay. “The movie was just getting to the end, and it’s not nice to leave your guest waiting.”
aidenharper:
Aiden kept the kitchen door slightly open, trying to follow Lucas and Arthur’s conversation, even though he could tell that not much of that was going on right now. Figuring they needed some more time, he grabbed a bag of microwave popcorn and decided to heat it up as he listened closely to what they were talking about. He heard Arthur apologize, but not the reply Lucas gave him, though he had a pretty good idea how his princess responded to that. Aiden let out a soft sigh and folded his arms across his chest, while he thought about how he could possibly fix this.
When a few moments passed and there was still no sign of Aiden’s return, Arthur decided to try again. He cleared his throat and shook his head. “It’s not whatever. I know you’re mad, you have every right to be. Which is why I’m trying to apologize and fix things, if you’d please listen.” Arthur was basically pleading, while simultaneously still looking over his shoulder in search of Aiden. Once again he was met with silence. Just a stone cold glare. “I just had the same thing happen to me, I know you don’t want to hear any of this. I probably wouldn’t want to either. But Aiden’s my friend, he has been for a while, and he seems to care a great deal for you. I want to fix things so things can, you know, revert back to normal and we can all be friends. But I know that won’t happen if you stay mad.”
This time Lucas actually looked at Arthur, glare softening just slightly. “And I promise it’ll never happen again. It was me acting out in my emotional state, you know? Nothing more than that. I mean, Aiden and I have been friends for years and nothing has happened prior. It’ll stay that way, for obvious reasons.” Arthur reassured, though it wasn’t exactly true. However, he did manage to earn a nod. Lucas uncrossed his arms and folded his hands in his lap. “Alright, fine. I’m sure we can talk and work things out.” Lucas said, mainly finding reassurance in hearing that it was meant as only a one time thing. Arthur breathed out a sigh of relief and nodded, head turning once again to look for Aiden in hopes he’d return.
aidenharper:
“It’s fine, we’re happy to see you’ve made it, but we’re like in the middle of watching Lucas’ favorite movie, though. Hope you don’t mind missing half of it.” Aiden got up from the couch and walked up to Arthur, giving him a smirk. Of course he didn’t fail to notice Lucas’ icy glare, but decided to not acknowledge it. “Anyways, have a seat, Art. I’ll go get you a glass of wine.” he continued, then added in a lower voice. “The movie blows. You didn’t miss anything.” Aiden turned around to look at Lucas before making his way to the kitchen. “Don’t start the movie without me, babe. You know how much I love this part. I’ll be back in a sec.” Aiden lied, hoping to get the two guys to talk to each other.. and hopefully not kill each other, but everything was fair in love and war, or something like that.
“Thanks so much.” Arthur said with a nod, an amused grin crossing his face in response to Aiden’s comments about the movie. All Lucas did was shoot Aiden a glare. A. for offering this traitor any of what might actually be in his cabinets, and B. because Aiden was leaving the two of them by themselves. Both of them watched as Aiden exited the room; Lucas wearing a pleading expression for him to to leave him alone with Arthur, and Arthur’s just nervous in general. That’s when an odd silence followed. Lucas crossed in front of Arthur to sit on his sofa, motioning to an open seat for him to sit as well. Arthur complied, slowly lowering himself in the seat farthest from Lucas’. “So, uh, what movie is it you’re watching?” he asked, bring Lucas to side eye him. “Dead Poet’s Society.” All Arthur did in response was nod awkwardly, turning to look for Aiden again before adding, “Not to start off on the wrong foot, but uh. I’m really sorry, you know. That’s why I came by in the first place, to... you know... apologize. I was hoping with could talk it out or something along those lines?”
Lucas looked Arthur over for a moment, crossed his arms, and muttered a “whatever.” before turning his attention back to the movie; keeping an ear out for Aiden in hopes that he’d come back as soon as possible. Arthur just nodded, clearing his throat and looking behind him again; once again for Aiden to return.
