The streets of Karakura town were bustling at this hour, people rushing left and right all around the petite shinigami. Rukia paid them no mind, enjoying the vibrant scenery autumn had to offer. Pausing, she looked into the window of a shop, noticing the decorations were vastly different from the last time she had visited. Why were they allowing the display to have cobwebs all over it? Weren’t most humans afraid of spiders? What about the coffin? It’s purpose was for the dead, not for a showcase. 

Confused, Rukia stood there a moment, pondering the scene before her. Without any logical answers, she turned away, spotting the healer not to far off. “Inoue!” Catching up to her, the lieutenant gave a small wave.

“What’s with all the displays? I’m not sure I understand the meaning with the coffins, spiderwebs, and the bright lights...”
