            last night was another bad night, but finnick doesn’t bother to wake annie. NIGHTMARES don’t come every night anymore, && he’s so grateful that he barely fusses when they return. he just heads downstairs, tiptoeing to avoid waking his wife & children. he takes up residence in the kitchen, drinking his COFFEE  ( more cream & sugar than coffee, just like always )  while the sun begins to fill their seaside villa. that’s when he hears the light footsteps on the stairs, && he knows it’s his DAUGHTER without turning around. he smirks softly, taking another sip of coffee.

On mornings like these, when Faina heard the WAVES from outside a slightly open window, everything seemed to be peaceful. The sounds and sights of Four were enough to calm even the deepest of emotions.

The question was INNOCENT enough as she slides into a chair opposite of her father. She wasn't expecting much of a spoken answer--maybe a raise of an eyebrow or shrug of the shoulder. She wasn't mute. ( She heard her mother's screaming at night, however RARE it might be. )
