âOh, sorry. I mean, itâs her loss then. Sheâll just be missing out on all the stories about all the fun you had here,â Louis replies, accepting the response without much fuss. Louis Weasley is many things, but tactless isnât one of them. Â As nosy as he can be, heâs not about to go sticking his nose into the family life of someone heâs only just met.Â
âI guess Durmstrang is pretty different to this place too. Iâm not sure youâll have much luck on the alien front butâ wait, thereâs a pool here?â
â nah. she wonât. she thinks i should act a proper way and i donât act like it at all. â luciana wanted to study a muggle subject. they were good with numbers and were determined to find out if aliens actually existed. at some point theyâd come for luc and they wanted to be ready. the durmstrang student never felt like they belonged anywhere, except when they were studying the stars.Â
â thereâs nothing wrong with durmstrang, but itâs just not really my type of school. iâm interested in learning about other cultures. â luc smiled. â maybe iâll get lucky on the alien front. well, iâve heard thereâs a pool. âÂ
âYOU DONâT KNOW WHAT PANDA EXPRESS IS??â Riley asked, her face animated & incredulous because that the other hadnât even eaten it â let alone heard of it. âWhere are you from, then?? What language are you speaking right now??â The bombardment of questions came from pure curiosity â this was why Riley had decided to go, besides it being the opportunity of a lifetime, learning more about people she knew would help her more with her writing. MAYBE, it would even help her more with learning about people. âRight.â
â no. i donât know what panda express is. â luciana didnât really know what those words meant when they were together, but apart luc knew what panda and express meant. â do you get a panda really quickly? â luc turned their head, even more confused as to why anyone would want a panda. â iâm norwegian. iâm speaking english because i know english. â luciana knew english because their parents had wanted them to know english and lots of people in norway spoke it as well. â sorry. where are you from? â they asked. â iâm luciana, but most people call me luc. âÂ
Louis has been lucky enough to visit a lot of amazing places in his lifeâthe ChĂąteau de Versailles is still one of his favouritesâbut Maladh Academy is unlike anything heâs seen before. Having been too swept up in the rush of the welcoming feast, heâs not had a proper chance to explore outside of the grand ballroom just yet and heâs practically itching to get out there and nose around a little.Â
âMaman is never going to believe me when I tell her about this.âÂ
to answer the question they heard plainly: yes, they could believe that this was a school. but it was quite amazing. there was nothing wrong with durmstrang, except it wasnât really the type of place that luc enjoyed being at.Â
â iâd be surprised if my mother even asked how iâm doing, let alone where i am, â they responded to the boy. â iâm excited to explore this place. maybe lounge by the pool for a bit. anywhere but being in durmstrang for the year. maybe the aliens will kidnap me before the yearâs up. â
Acting like she belonged was no easy feat for Riley â because she knew she didnât. Riley often felt like she was in constant flux, constantly trying to find who she was and shape herself into who she wanted to be. AWKWARDLY, she tried to navigate the beautiful school but was definitely relieved ( & embarrassed ) when someone pointed it out to her. âThatâs real deep. Youâre like a fortune cookie from Panda Express,â her eyebrows knitted together as she crossed then uncrossed her arms. âFuck, the food is that way, right?? Where I hear the people??âÂ
luc was vaguely aware that their mother had taught them that. it wasnât that luciana didnât get along with their mother, it was that their mother stood for everything that was wrong with peopleâs relationships now and they hated that. luc stared at the girl and shrugged. luciana had no idea where they were themself, so it was highly annoying to call someone else out on looking out of place, but that didnât matter. luc was, after all, honest. â whatâs panda express? â they asked, blinking confused. â nevermind. this place is a maze, but iâd think getting back should be simple enough. i doubt thereâs many people our age here. âÂ
â see even if you are lost, if you act like you know where youâre going, then people wonât question you. itâs all about acting like you belong. â luciana laughed, looking around as if they knew exactly where they were when really, they had no idea. maybe someone would take pity on them and show them back towards the ballroom. their stomach growled.Â
hereâs my third muse, luciana vane. honestly, iâve changed a bit about luciana, so iâm really excited to bring luc back to the group !! ( edit: also this is a little bit lacking, but iâll probably add more to their about page once we start. )Â
luciana vane is an only child. their parents had an arranged marriage and produced only one child. lucâs father is pretty high up in the norwegian ministry and their mother is a stay at home mother. both have had their string of affairs, even bringing their partners home occasionally.Â
to say they grew up in a bad household is an understatement. luc practically was raised by their maid, marcella. marcella taught luc to accept people, except those that wanted to hurt them or take advantage of them. so luc learned to do things theirself and tolerate people, but they had a thing for liars and cheaters.Â
obviously, when luc got their letter for durmstrang, they were excited to go off, but they quickly learned that durmstrang was not the type of school they really liked all that much. luc was the oddball out in any situation.Â
personality wise, luc is very much has the âtough girlâ asethetic going on. luc can be described as a space bi. like literally, luc believes in aliens. they pretend that they donât care about people, but honestly luc really loves everyone. although they are a bit odd. they donât care to sugarcoat anything and will say what they feel, which is what gives them the tough attitude.Â
