SL is a weird project that started as a box head character design and evolved to this mixed media between making an ask blog to develop the world, while at the same time I work on a walking sim game with multiple worlds and activities, such as fishing, collecting items, watering plants, etc.

[I am going to break character for this.

Politely, I run this blog for fun and free. If I haven’t updated is because life took a turn for the worse, among them my dog that had been with me for 12 years passed away suddenly and in an ugly way, and I’ve had to focus my time and energy in other things.

There are better and less rude ways of asking why the lack of activity, I am a person behind this blog, and again do this for fun and free.

I am always happy to know other people enjoy and like what I do, but there are better ways of expressing it (to me or any other creator out there).

I’ve had your previous ask sketched for months, but haven’t had the time nor energy to finish it because I’ve had to prioritize my time in my actual job, and I’ll eventually come to it, or not, in due time.

I don’t know if you meant this to be as rude as it came out, maybe you didn’t mean it, but that doesn’t take away this is a weird way of asking if a blog is still active or not.

Going to reply to both here so it’s easier (also sorry if the redaction is a bit weird, I just woke up).

I accept your apology and choose to believe you didn’t mean your ask to sound rude, especially because it sounds like you are very young (and if thats the case, please be safe out there online, remember the block button and tags are your friends).

Hopefully this will help you as a learning experience (and anyone reading this) in the future about to send a better message to other blogs, we never know what’s happening on the other side of the screen.

I understand we all mess up so I mean it when I say no hard feelings and I genuinely wish you both a nice rest of the week, and as a friend says, be kind to yourself and be kind to others.
