INTRODUCING LUCIFER TREMAINE. A HUMAN FROM ECHO CREEK.
His whole life Lucifer Tremaine was treated like a prince. He was quite literally served on a silver platter by the staff that his parents had hired. It was evident from an early age that he was going to be a menace. He was cruel to other kids and found joy in making them cry. He terrorized the estate staff and when his sisters came along he terrorized them too. That’s not to say the man doesn’t have a heart. He does. He loves his mother wholeheartedly and would do anything for her.
When his father passed he wasn’t devastated. Sure, he was sad but he didn’t loose sleep over it. Besides, he was the man of the house now and other than his mother he called the shots.
That was until his step-dad came along. Along with him came Ella who was…the exact opposite of the Tremaines. She was kind and pure and soft spoken. Lucifer was none of those things. He loathed Ella and his step-dad from the start but he was quiet about it. As quickly as he was promoted to man of the house he had been demoted and Lucifer didn’t appreciate that. More than once he let the older man how he felt about him and it was Ella that always broke up the arguments.
Killing the man was never apart of the plan. Lucifer had always been a prankster, but his pranks often went too far. So, when the man accidentally walked into it he bled out and died before he even got to the hospital. Honestly though, Lucifer didn’t feel an ounce of guilt. He hated him and now that it was just Ella left behind he could get what he wanted; money and power.
Thankfully his mother was able to cover the whole mess up. It was probably one of the only times she’d ever been angry at her son but Lucifer did not want to experience it again.
Things were stressful for a while after Ella’s dad passed. Lucifer finally felt the weight of responsibility and he didn’t like it. He channeled his anger and agitation on Ella and the rest of the estate staff. He made the girl’s life a living hell. He was cruel and pretty much verbally abused her.
Eventually Lucifer could feel himself cracking though. He needed to get out of the house and just going out and fucking around wasn’t cutting it. So, he went to college. It was fine and all. He lived in a luxury apartment nearby campus that mommy paid for because he could not handle the thought of having to live with some strangers. He got his degree in management and when he was graduated he came home.
Lucifer partied a lot in college. He liked the thrill of everything and he liked the sex, drugs, and alcohol that came along with it. He still parties now and the parties he does go to are so much better than those of some college frat house parties.
A while after returning home things were back to normal, except he had knowledge and experience. He went back to treating Ella like dirt but didn’t expect her to run away. He hasn’t found her yet, but is dead set on dragging her back even if she is kicking and screaming along the way.
He is not incredibly close with his sisters. Mostly, they’re a nuisance. He does care about them in his own strange way though. Drizella is a big help with finding Ella and he’s certain if one of the twins find her it would be her. Anastasia’s head just seems to be stuck in the clouds most days.
Somehow Lucifer has become even more of a terror to the staff since Ella left. He is not going to allow anyone else to run off and he certainly doesn’t have the time to go looking for them.
Lucifer is a terrible person, no doubt, but he does have his own demons he has to face. He gets nightmares frequently, scared that the truth about Ella’s father’s death will come to surface. Some days he has small realizations about the way he acts but has no desire to change. He has these inner battles in his mind but mostly he just ignores it.
Has absolutely no desire to ever hold a real job. He has all the money he wants in the world and when his mother eventually dies he will inherit more. Sure, he makes money off of the duties at the estate and such, but he doesn’t think he could ever hold a proper job unless he was in the one in charge.
Has a black kitten, of course. Her name is Olive. :)
