So, as those here know, i post my stories on AO3. What some may not know is that i started posting on Wattpad first while i waited for my AO3 invite to arrive and that i still upload my fics there as well (yes i'm a whore for votes/kudos lol). A comment on one of my fics today on Wattpad made me realise something. I got asked if i did requests, as I haven't really been writing ST fanfics all that long, i hadn't realised this was a thing that people might want. So in short, yes i do do requests but they might not be instant. Like currently i'm actually swapping between three fics i'm writing, once i get one or two of those out of the way i can start on another. So if you guys do want to see anything, i have started a list for myself to make sure i get things written. If there is something i am not comfortable writing, i will say so.
So far request wise i have... Plunger x Fem!Reader, Dark Speaker x Fem!Reader, Plunger x Dark Speaker x Fem!Reader. Brown Cameraman x Fem!Reader, TVDaddy x Fem!Reader, Lrg Clockman x Fem!Reader, Drillwoman x Fem!Reader, Clockwoman x Fem!Reader, Yandere TV Woman x Speakerman
Sabre seems to have an astro ring on his back in 78 if you look close. Might be why we not seen him since then, hes testing it out in secret or hes taken to the battlefield like he said to Buzz but is doing a glitch toilet and slamming into astros taking em out

a feel like the new generation of fanfic readers NEED to understand that clicking on a fic (interaction) does nothing. ao3 has no algorithm. your private discord discussions of fic do not reach the authors. if you do not actively engage with writers they will stop posting. this isn’t social media this is community.
Readers could also use a reframe in the anxiety/power dynamic involved. I hear people say a lot they are too shy to comment on fics.
But It is soo vulnerable to post a story, and even more so to receive clicks and no comments. It leaves you feeling like people actively dislike your work, and does effect whether you decide to continue a story or make more risks with your writing. The audience is our critic and we sit chomping our nails hoping someone will pop by even to just say "love it!" and nothing else.
Even the most prolific authors on AO3 are doing this for fun and volunteer, not pay, and with maybe the exception of those who are also published authors, we often use it as a platform to improve our abilities, test run our ideas, and determine whether we have what it takes to try to publish our own work.
Adding to the 'this is community' aspect: I've ended up incorporating ideas from my AO3 commenters 'yes, and-'ing my stories, and even written whole-ass fics from ideas in comments that inspired me.
Fan-fiction is different from original fiction in that it's essentially an analysis/discussion of the source material, but done through the lens of storytelling. (Well, often it is. Sometimes you just want to see your blorbo get a deserved dicking.) And it's part of a community of writers and readers who are doing the same. Please join in!
Deep Sea Mer-Rover Polychephaly of the MARINE Alliance
&
Outskirt Warrior Buzzsaw of the Skibidi Tribe
Who would've thought the two would find each other more than just scientific curiosity?
─────────────────────
Mer AU Notes
Polycephaly is apart of MARINE Alliance or the Marine Archipelago Research Institute & Nautical Exploration Alliance and pretty much the love child between the Research and Exploration Branches
He's a sea robot built to be a deep sea & merfolk rover to study said subjects hence the merfolk build he sports.
The kelp/claw disguised extension acts as self defense mechanisms, idea being that they can charge plasma for blasts or generate a similar to Polycephaly's Detaining Claws canon-wise.
Polycephaly has a state-of-the-art warp drive built for underwater pressures for easy transportation of the self and marine samples for MARINE labs.
Fish and general marine life in general tend to be hypnotized by Polycephaly's screen light funnily enough.
Other than his curious sailor's mouth, the marine life that fluttered around Polychephaly was what drew a certain Skibidi mer to him.
Buzzsaw is a member of the Skibidi Tribe, a split off branch of the more bloodthirsty Astro Tribe and is an accomplished warrior to say the least.
He's a coral reef merfolk with stronger than usual deep sea siren traits usually assigned to the front-line when it comes to battle and outskirt duty keeping away or investigating outsiders off it.
In merfolk culture, names are given to a mer when they've accomplished something of note, otherwise, they referred as their status or profession like 'fry' for young or 'sentry' for guards and the like.
Buzzsaw got his name through battle and the buzz saw weapon he uses attached to his amputated right hand that works through the brilliance of 'Old Mer Scientist's' reverse engineering and refitting.
Buzzsaw's Nautilus-Coral 'headphones' is an obligatory Full Moon (Skibidi Tribe) or Fang (Astro Tribe) Rite Gift for reaching adulthood in merfolk society.
The glasses were a novelty find of his from a recent passing cruise ship he happily wore as part of his trademark.

Hoo-wee its been a hot fuckin sec since I've drawn or posted shit. Let's just say last semester was fuckin HORRID and leave it at that.
(I also procrastinated posting this, so sorry my goobers─)
Any who─ it's Mermay! (And almost the end sorry ihgvbdw)─ and of course, I got struck with a beam of brainworms via @luciledrakkhen and ended up drawing something I usually would never do─ ship art of canon characters I have no preference for shipping.
And whether its that reason or whatever tho, I made it and I actually like how it turned out for once which is an especial surprise considering this is my first time actually drawing again in MONTHS.
Either wae, enough jabberin'! Hope you enjoy the meal for todae! Happy eats Drakk kekek!

A TVman and cameraman flirt over the (still developing) ideas about what robots find rude. And maybe a little exploration of why we find orifices, leaks, and unpredictable emotions cute in robot characters. Kind of suggestive.
—
The TVman looked left and right, then loosened their coat and leaned over to one side slightly. The movement compressed the open space inside them and, along with the motion of their fans, dislodged a small cloud of battlefield dust. They hummed with relief, that felt much better.
Somewhere behind them was a tiny whirr. They turned, to see a small black-suited cameraman, watching them with a big, dilated lens. The cameraman looked down shyly, and made another fluttery sound.
“Are you giggling at my vents?” the TVman asked.
The cameraman said vents in sign language, then squealed their servos with the speed and excitedness with which they turned away. There wasn’t anywhere nearby for them to run off behind, so they had to turn back, trembling and fumbling with their hand signs. ‘No. Yes. No, a bit.’
“Don’t you go anywhere. Look me in the screen.” The TVman allowed that to sound menacing, but the ;) emoji they made said otherwise. “Is a little dusty vent rude to you cams or something? I don’t think we’ve decided if it is.”
Curiously, the cameraman angled their lens up. ‘I don’t know. I think…’ They paused, hands still for a moment. ‘…something that comes out of someone by surprise is funny. It’s embarrassing.’ The TVman knew, through downloaded information, that the sign for embarrassing looked a bit like hiding behind your hand, but hadn’t had the experience of seeing it in person. It was endearing, and it was disappointing when the cameraman changed to transmission, probably assuming that it would communicate subtleties that a TVman wouldn’t be able to pick up from sign language. “Funnier if it’s kind of… dirty,” they concluded.
“What, like oil? Dust and air isn’t dirty.”
The cameraman nodded. “Oil, definitely. Like, if we get opened up for a clean, or get something fixed and… oops, some oil comes out!” They made their fluttery whirr again - the TVman was starting to find it quite appealing. “I’m sure you guys are too well-made to leak oil.” Their transmission became a little wavery, and they looked down. “Unless you needed lots of work done.”
The TVman shrugged. “Everyone leaks.”
Cameramen weren’t the most subtle about their body language. Even though this one was keeping their upper body still, the movement of their knees showed that they were squirming. “What about something that’s not as mucky as oil? What about coolant?” they asked.
“I don’t know. Maybe.”
“I saw your titan once. After fighting. They looked hot, I mean overheated hot, and they had a little...” With a shaky hand, the cameramen touched their chest, around where a core would be on a titan. “A little… you know, a leak. Is that rude?”
Considerably better at concealing their mood, the TVman tilted their head. “What do you think?”
“They didn’t look surprised. Or embarrassed,” the cameraman transmitted. “The titan looked... they didn’t care about it. They were looking for something else to fight. They were leaking, and dusty, and furious, and they didn’t care that we could see.” They hadn’t moved their hand back down, they were pressing their chest slightly. The TVman wondered if that was just an expression of intense emotion, or if that was where cameramen had their charging ports. “Maybe it’s about intimacy - seeing something that should be inside felt intimate. I’ve thought about what’s inside you guys ever since.”
That was a big and complex thought to come out of a little and cute cam. The TVman thought about how they’d furtively expelled their dust, and shook out their coat to cover it, and the cognitive dissonance of neat and tidy TVs getting grubby. They couldn’t label the feelings, but it did feel interesting and exciting that it meant the cameraman had had an emotional reaction to their intimacies as well. “My titan’s been fighting again today. Should we go and see if they got hot?”
In case you missed it, I made a fan-listing site for my fellow adult Skibidi Toilet fans!
The unofficial Skibidi Toilet fan-listing!
(Zeta Valleys because it's the inverse of Alpha Hills, ee hee.)
A fan-listing is a site hosting a self-selected list of fans of a particular topic (in this case Skibidi Toilet). You can add your website and/or a public-facing email, or neither and just add your name to the ranks.
It's not gamified in any way, and it's not a mailing list/discussion board. It's just nice to see how many fans there are and browse everyone's sites/blogs if they choose to share them!
