Headcannon  Cass’ Sister-in-Law was a Geiko. She helped Cass develop skills as a hostess and taught her how to hold conversations with costumers. Mrs. Hamada passed down a skill set taught to her by her mother to Cass because Cass mentioned opening a cafe and treated it as a modern version of the Tea House Mrs. Hamada worked in.

“I won’t, Aunt Cass. I promise.” Tadashi shot his aunt an amused smile, picking up the bag she set down for him with a grateful smile. “Thanks, and uh, well, there’s no hot dates that I’m aware of on the horizon, so, I promise I won’t be too long.” He assured her with a laugh. “He’s still upstairs, though, he’ll probably move to the garage in a bit.”

“The first aid kit is still in the garage right?” Cass asked leaning on the service counter. She would pop in on Hiro later to make sure he was alright. “I just hope you’re home for dinner. I haven’t decided what to make yet. I know desert is going to be ice cream though.” She told him shifting. “What do you think we should do for dinner?”
