im genuinely tired of the pearl clutching and people wanting to just, pretend heavy subject matter doesn't exist and shouldn't exist.

i get art is escapism, but it's also an outlet. I'm angry that people want all stories to have zero conflict or whatever that is personally uncomfortable but I think I am very much moved by artists who express themselves via art.
