Once you become a certain age, it is your responsibility to unlearn behaviors that hinder your growth as a person.

Man I cannot stress this enough. The “this is how I am, take it or leave it” attitude is an act of immaturity. We all have toxic traits that we need to work on and as an adult it’s our responsibility to recognize the damage that they can do to the ones we love. We all need to put in more effort in becoming better individuals.

I work the graveyard shift so it's pretty normal for me to go to breakfast with people from work. Today I invited a new friend and his response was basically "oh since we've met (last week) I've started seeing someone, but if it doesn't work out with her I like you a lot and will definitely hit you up for that breakfast and see where things go ;)"

Okay... what??

What gets me is that if things don't work out then THEN I get a shot? As if he didn't just blow it by telling me I'm his second choice? Also I just wanted some French Toast???
