We can find this words in the façade of Palais de Chaillot, in Paris.

In 1940, Hitler was standing 10 meter away from where I snapped this picture. 

Eight years later, in december 1948, this place  hosted the third United Nations General Assembly, when the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted.

In harsh times of violence and intolerance like nowadays, we can look up, read these words and state that Art is defintely not only about one artist creating and feeling, but also about the role it plays on overcoming differences, breaking barriers and bringing people together. Or at least, it should be.

In spite of the challenges we still have to face, felt good to remember about this watershed in our history and celebrate its 70 years anniversary, even though we still have way to ride
