A place filled with tales of werewolves, giant lizards, druids and the devil himself.
It is said to be home of the Nonuplet Sisters, daughters of a Roman military official. Their mother, frightened that her husband would interpret the multiple birth as a sign of infedility, ordered a maid to drawn them in the river. Unable to kill them, the maid delivered the sisters to peasant women, who brought them up as christians. The sisters would later oppose the worship of the Roman gods as adult women, which resulted in their imprisionement by their own father. They maganed to escape and waged a guerrila war against the Roman empire in the mountains. The leader, Saint Quiteria was caught, beheaded and thrown into the water, later emerging holding her head in her hands and walking to her own grave. Saint Quiteria is still worshipped to these days, against rage and madness, and invoked to help children with delayed walking.
