don't listen to anyone who says dumb stuff like "you need to vibrate at the frequency of your desires to align yourself with the....." and i'm already sleeping....
affirmation and persistence is what gets you what you want. you don't have to vibrate, you're not a rose toy.
and yes, i'm aware that in science and physics, everything vibrates or has a frequency but i'm not a scientist and i doubt some of you are, so why even worry about that?

"so if shifting is real, you're telling me it was discovered by a bunch of teenagers on tiktok?" YES!! well, no. there's been science and research and a lot of people shifting forever because it's a spiritual practice. but i wholeheartedly believe that shifting being popularized in 2020 by teenagers, more noticeably teenage girls, made people less open to it. if it were some incel alpha male with a podcast, the way people perceived it would be entirely different. not even that, but even if the primary shifting influencer demographic back then were teen boys, or any adults at all, it would be seen so differently.
the interests of teenage girls specifically have always been diminished and seen as more frivolous and less important- just think about the hate women get for being a superfan of a singer versus the support men get for being a superfan of a sports team. it's all "cringe" until it's a man shirtless, painting his entire face and chest the colors of his favorite football team while screaming at the tv, and then that's "cool." especially with shifting being primarily associated with harry potter, hogwarts, draco malfoy.
that right there, not only shifting being associated with something fictional, but also the fact that a lot of people shift for romance, that also made people see it as just a big joke. because it becomes a stereotype: obsessed fangirl tries to become part of her favorite book so she can kiss her favorite character. and i want to say there's nothing wrong with that- with shifting for romance, not with perpetuating a stereotype. but if people diminish the interests of teenage girls and ignore the voices of women in general, and if shifting isn't the easiest to teach, especially to someone with limiting beliefs, then why the hell would we expect them to believe shifters?
i do believe that shifting is real and that a majority of its demographic is young teens because they're the only people who are open minded enough to try and because no one else would even try to hear us out.
me when i shift to my marvel reality and dr stranger starts trying to teach me some "visualize the destination in your mind" shit as if i didnt just do that to get there
when i have tumblr open in one tab and notion in the other and pinterest open in a different one and the movie/show i am shifting to in another tab and i have my headphones in and its 1am and everyone else in my house is asleep and im scripting and i genuinely enter a flow state
when im happy that i finally figured out the timeline in my marvel dr but i realize i planned so far ahead that i wont get to meet half of the people im excited to get to talk to for like 6 years
the concert itself wasn't something that i manifested this month. i bought the tickets on presale months ago. but that night, i manifested the surprise song i wanted, care!! i love that song so much and i was so mad it wasn't on the setlist. still, it was chosen as the surprise song and i almost cried 🥲 i think this is the first time it really clicked to me that manifestation is real. like i assumed it would happen and it happened. it was incredible.
CONCERT #2: GIGI PEREZ
okay this one was insane. we were on the way home from the conan concert and my mom jokes and says "so what's our next concert gonna be?" and i immediately go GIGI PEREZ GIGI PEREZ PLEASE I LOVE HER and she was like lol ok. but then i was like no, i need to go. i'm still a minor, so it was a matter of convincing my parents. somehow, even though my dad literally said no multiple times, he decided that he was willing to go now. we got vip tickets. vip. and this was the closest ive ever been at a concert. there were literally only three people in front of me. three. people. AND i was convinced that she was gonna look at me, i manifested it because like i'm so close to the front she's gonna see me yk? and guess what fucking happened!! it's the picture on the right, it's hard to tell because of the shadow of her hat but i pinky promise, i wasn't looking at the camera while i was recording it i was looking at her, and i saw her make eye contact with me. she was mouting "i love you" to the crowd and i swear to you she mouthed it to me.
SCHOOL #1: CHEMISTRY
i absolutely DESPISE chemistry. i hate science as a subject. none of it makes sense to me at all. and for some reason i'm in this godforsaken class. and because i don't understand a fucking thing, i was failing. i've literally never had anything below a B before, so an F was terrifying. i have all A's except for this class. so then this big unit exam came up. i did not study. i didn't even know what i was supposed to study, that's how little i understood everything. so i manifested that i would pass the test and get my grade up to a passing grade. wanna guess what i got on the test by lucky guessing and maybe understanding 2 out of 24 problems? yeah. i will say, there were a few assignments that brought my grade up to a 60%, but that test brought it up more than 10%. i'm getting it even higher now, because a C is still not good for me. but i'm passing and that's what i wanted.
SCHOOL #2: THE MATH TEST
i don't really have pictures to prove it, so y'all just gotta trust me on this one. i had a math test that was supposed to be last week. my math teacher lowkey sucks at her job and i haven't learned anything, and i've been so busy between extracurriculars and other classes and work that i had no time to actually try to study what we're learning. she had told us that it was gonna be last wednesday. then that day comes, i'm completely unprepared, having manifested that we wouldn't have to take it. sure enough, she decided to move it. so then the weekend happens, i don't study at all. admittedly, i forgot. so i go into school that day manifesting that i won't have to take the test because i know i'm gonna fail. she moves the test to the next day (today) because nobody studied and she's mad at us but it's not like she can fail us all. she gives us the entire period to work on the study guide. then today comes. i still hadn't had any time to study and i was still manifesting that something stopped me from failing the test. guess what she told us when we walked into class. it was a partner test. we could work with the person next to us. and my best friend sits next to me, who actually studied everything. so i was able to work with her, and the grade hasn't been put in but i'm certain she got us a really high grade because she's like a genius.
so basically, i've learned the best way for me to manifest things is by not trying. don't put in too much effort. just assume it will happen, don't preoccupy yourself about it. i also had a lot of doubts the whole time, since i'm pretty new to loa compared to other people. like with the conan concert, i'd tell myself "well maybe i shouldn't say it's going to be care because what if it's not and then i start to feel that manifesting isn't real :(" but i just ignored it and kept assuming that it would be that song, and of course it was. i still have yet to shift to any of my drs, but the closest i've ever gotten was while falling asleep in class or just bored at home. for me, what works best is not putting in that much effort. set your intentions and let it happen.
