If given the chance, would you kiss a ghost?

Which of my beloved final two Bridgerton couples would you prefer to read a fic about? Full disclosure: I can't write smut. Or stories set in a previous century. Or poignant angst. Or anything resembling an actual plot. So if you're craving painfully pointless, meandering fluff where characters blather away about nothing before suddenly declaring their love in the sappiest way possible...you're in for quite a treat ;)
I'd rather read a fic about Hyacinth/Gareth
I'd rather read a fic about Gregory/Lucy
day 25: which of these supernatural creatures do you believe in most?
the fae
ghosts
aliens (that have visited our planet)
bigfoot/abominable snowman
GREGORY and HYACINTH BRIDGERTON
Bridgerton (2020 - ) I 1.08 - 4.07
Being a huge fan of the Bridgerton books that haven't been adapted for the screen yet is so weird because some days I feel like I literally cannot wait to see them and wish I could immediately inject them into my veins despite the fact that we're months and years away (patience is not among my virtues!), while other days I'm so worried about how the series might trample all over canon or my personal fanon that I'd almost rather them not be adapted at all!
ON THE WAY TO THE WEDDING (2006)
“I should go,” she said. But he didn’t move. And neither did she. —Chapter eleven.
At the end of the day - and most of the time during - there is no one I would rather see, no one whose voice I would rather hear, and no one whose mind I would rather explore.

If they were alive today, which Bridgerton pairing would most love watching horror, psychological suspense etc?
Simon/Daphne
Kate/Anthony
Sophie/Benedict
Colin/Penelope
Eloise/Phillip
Francesca/John
Francesca/Michael(a)
Hyacinth/Gareth
Gregory/Lucy
Please choose one of my Bridgerton head canons! None of these are meant to offend in any way, but be forewarned that most may find their way into my terrible fanfics :)
Lucy is neurodivergent (the obsession w/ details, the blurting out)*
Stealing this: Hyancinth has slight psychopathic tendencies - in the best way!
I don't see SeriesEloise as a lesbian - I truly think she's ace
Fran talks to John (RIP) daily and is sometimes convinced that he answers
Violet/Edmund didn't have as idyllic a relationship as Violet recalls
"Always cheerful" yet discontent Colin sometimes suffers from major depression
Modern day Daphne would be a "momfluencer"
Gregory has an undiagnosed learning disability so never believed he was smart
Sweet Sophie has a secret dark/vengeful side thanks to her upbringing
Edwina/Hermione/etc form a "glad to have dodged marriage to a Bridgerton" group
*The way my girl is intent on knowing EXACTLY how many stairs lead from one room in the house to another, and that's just for starters :)
i think something that hit me so hard was how everyone helped Francesca through her grief in the ways she needed, like Benedict playing her a pianoforte tune to make her laugh, all the siblings enthusiastically discussing the biscuit recipe during the reception, even Sophie giving her an excuse to leave the gathering when she was clearly overwhelmed, they just know her so well!!! even when she claimed that John was the one that finally understood her, you can see how much love and care her family has for her, even if sometimes they’re a bit confused
You know when you have a take that you realize is irrational and unfair but find yourself holding on to it anyway?! Here's mine: I just don't particularly like Violet Bridgerton.
OBJECTIVELY, yes, she's strong and (usually!) very compassionate and moral and protective of those she loves, and as someone who genuinely can't see myself ever being able to raise even ONE child, the fact that she raised eight as a mostly single mom is beyond admirable (even when one takes into account that she had a whole slew of servants to help lol).
So I know I should like her, and I truly want to...but I just don't. I think she triggers my own 'mommy issues' in that Violet insists on viewing everything and everyone through the prism of her OWN experiences, biases, expectations etc and can never initially compute that her children are different human beings whose views and preferences don't fully align with her own - despite already learning that exact same lesson many times over by now.
I get that there are far worse flaws to have, and the majority of moms out there are 'judgy' to an extent because they want what's best for their children, but it's still frustrating for me to have to watch it. This past season, she had me rolling my eyes at her initial take on Sophie/Benedict even as I objectively knew it was a realistic perspective for her to have. And as the world's biggest John Stirling stan, I'll never fully forgive her for initially not supporting Fran's romance with this kind, intelligent, honorable and super ethical man who'd provide her daughter with a wonderful life purely because SHE (Violet) took it upon herself to decide that there weren't enough sparks there despite Fran assuring her mother that she loved John deeply and that in fact John understood and connected with her on a level that her family (very much including YOU, Violet!) generally didn't! Maybe it's an especially sensitive topic for me since we knew that Fran and we as viewers were going to lose John in the very near future, and I just desperately wanted them to enjoy a little happiness before then. But most parents would consider themselves blessed if their children found a John Stirling, and if you're blind to that for whatever bizarre reason, that's on YOU, Violet, not a reflection of him or their relationship.
Violet did come around on Sophie, John, and any other decent human being who she initially doubted. She deserves credit for that. And compared to many of the Bridgertons' flaws, hers are objectively quite mild. The thing is, for me she's just not dynamic, compelling and interesting enough to compensate for the stuff about her that irks me. When she's not actively annoying me, she's boring me.
Sorry, Violet. I know that I should appreciate you far more than I do, but we just don't click. It's me, not you! Well, for the most part :)
I spent ALL day reading every poll, hot take and unpopular opinion I could find here, and you all inspired me! I love how people here don't judge, and I plan to follow everyone I can. And if you think I copied your UO in this poll, it's only because I saw it and screamed "OMG, same, me too!"
Which do you come closest to agreeing with?
The last two books, Hyacinth and Gregory's, are my two very favorites*
I'm not a fan of the series' sex scenes because I'm...me (but love the kissing!)
The four Bridgertons on my header - E, F, G, H - are my four favorites
Love Fran with Michael/a already, but nothing can quite top Fran/John for me
I loved Polin more during other seasons than I did during their own (s3)
I like Benedict, just not as much as the huge majority of our fanbase does
I admittedly have NO fashion sense but I loved Pen's supposedly ugly S1 dresses
I never find excerpts from Lady W's column as witty or clever as I'm supposed to
