Obsession is a phenomenal movie that explores such a simple concept in an incredibly deeply layered way-

Not to mention the standout theme of *consent.*

“If a man casts a wish for a girl to love him forever-

Is it not taking advantage of her to do so in the same way that drugging her is?”

Changing your perspective on the reality of a situation by forcing someone to consent to something, and layering that with supernatural torture makes a mix for a movie that left me tearful and shivering by the end.
