EYE SEE GOD
Your heart in mine hands (safe, safe, safe).
I really REALLY want to explore what it must've been like for Narinder to deal with all the grief and guilt of his siblings' deaths during that small time the Mystic Seller hadn't show up yet cause it would be such a good writing point for angst and character growth
i swear i am one. ignore the tentacles
Before the COTL crew admitted through that short that The Goat's bishop was an alternative Shamura... I got the idea that if there could've been an opposite version of TOWW, a three-eyed black cat... then in that world it would've been a three-headed white dog. Basically, a Cerberus.
Some sketches I did about some weeks ago instead of paying attention to my classes (I'm about to end the year anyway)
For this I happened to use two brand new black ones (lineart, sketch, and color), a new red pen (color), another red pen that doesn't really write very well (color, mainly the horns), a new pencil (sketch and color), a white corrector (to fix bad spots or to color white), and a red highlighter that I never use (to color Lamb's fleece). Interesting experiment, it has been a while since I've drawn with these sorts of supplies.
Drawings in order:
TOWW still in chains
Lamb being cute, most likely talking to Narinder
Aym and Baal greeting the Lamb
Canon Narinder and Lamb in wedding dresses (only Narinder's canon, the Lamb has a bit more original ceremonial attire)
Lamb with a halo
TW: Bonus drawing under the cut containing some slight gore.

Fun fact
Cats like to sleep in sheep's wool it says that it reminds them of the times when they were a kitten
Narinder, the lap cat.
Hey you remember when I said I want to make a Marchosias comic? Yeah I made a Sariel one instead. I'm not really coherent. This is the first time in a loooooong time I made a comic... Maybe the first I actually finished it. Ngl I'm kinda shy about it, especially about the lineart, I need to improve that 😅 This is basically my own headcanon about Sariel, specifically, his devotion to Yngya and why he went as far as to do what he would do later in his afterlife: He wasn't a lamb native from Woolhaven, and because of this he never saw Yngya as a mother figure, like the lambs that she watched being born and grow under her care. He was a nomad, who spent his whole youth looking for find a place and community to belong to, but never could because of the reigning gods who lived in those lands. The lamb genocide wasn't there yet, but he still didn't want to serve gods who only saw him as a devotion or sacrifice tool. When he found Woolhaven though, it was love at first sight for Yngya. He saw her as much more than a goddess, but as a being so loving that although divine, had the caring nature of a mortal, unlike the other gods he escaped from. He did not see her divinty in her powers or crown, but in the humility and care for her followers. He admired her so much that he worshipped her both as a disciple and a spouse, a worship so devoted and loveful that turned into a form of obsessive love where she was only thing that he could really care for, and the only good thing that this world ever made. So he became her disciple, so he could help her taking care of the cult where she welcomed him with open arms, which he also grew to love as the flock he always wanted and his goddess' paradise. That's why when the hunt for lambs started and Yngya was slain, he decided to go through with the ritual. After so much time looking for a reason to live for... the world just had to take it away from him. So who cares if it was unjust to destroy it for the others living in it, the world wasn't just to him, or his goddess, in the first place. (Also I'm not sure if Yngya and Sariel were canonically married, I think it was just left ambigous what their relationship was, but I like to think that they were two actual lovers. Let me dream-)
Thinking about the followers in the cult of the lamb. How small they are. and how much they have suffered. Either they're rescued by the lamb from rituals or destroyed villages or the spider that ties them up with the intent to consume them or they seek out a place of safety on their own and reach the cult's doorstep begging to be brought in. Everything is out to get them to the point even some that dissent against the lamb, and even the disciples of the old faith/free pack that tried to KILL the lamb are more willing to take their chances in staying with them then they are wandering the lands of the old faith alone.
The lands are dangerous and even the places that ARE seemingly safe are haunted by teeth in the darkness. Few are able to thrive on their own without some means of protection-
It honestly kinda makes me think of the lambs cult being more of an animal rescue than anything else.
In a way it makes me emotional? Like. Okay. I know the lamb is a blank slate character and theyre very capable of being just as horrible as the bishops but. Take my hand. walk with me for a moment.
Imagine being the little guy constantly running for your life from the beasts and heretics that roam the lands, and you're caught and killed but brought back with power and a purpose and a thirst for revenge
And then you find someone else. Someone else small and terrified and running for their lives. And you get the chance to take them in. You don't have much, just overgrown ruins and berries but it's what you can offer to help give them the safety nobody ever offered you
And you find more, and more, and more, and with their help your community grows into something functional. They believe in you, they confide in you, you are their safety, their protector, their shepherd. They give you the power to defeat the evils outside and in turn you do your best to keep them happy and healthy and safe. You let in disciples of the old faith, members of the free pack, the cruel gods you felled, all because you know what it's like out there alone, and you will not be the one who turns someone away from safety.
Do you think yngya did the same? That the way the lamb treats their community mirrors the way she did? A safe haven unable to be found by any cruel outsiders?
If the old gods were squashing mortals like bugs then what if the lamb was taking them with a cup and a paper card and putting them somewhere safe?
This game does things to me.
