THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS OF THE BORGIAS ╚ W R A T H - juan borgia "men do not torture boys" "not even ones worth the whole nest of borgias?"
Ecstasy of Saint Teresa—Giovanni Lorenzo Bernini, 1647-1652, Santa Maria della Vittoria, Cornaro Chapel
(For the record, this is my favorite sculpture of all time.)
i'm so confused as to what to do with this blog now
Can we just note her shirt please?
Trust me.My name is Borgia.
Borgia was so ruthless and so talented, he knew so well that you have to win over people or destroy them and he had built up such solid foundations for his power in such a short time that if he hadn’t had these two armies threatening him, or if he hadn’t been so ill, he would have overcome every obstacle.

of course something i recorded nearly a year ago isn't perfect ffs stop judging my singing off OLD recordings when i've clearly developed since then (i hate people)
So sorry that this blog has only been queued reblogs from ginabeck… I’d post stuff, but I have bad repetitive strain injury in both arms so I’ve not been able to
one night when the moon was full…
I DIDN’T KNOW MY WEBCAM COULD DO THIS AND NOW I’M DYING
FA I’m not a model the camera just turned itself on MULAN
the three times i’ve met gina (aka “the three stages of me growing up"because LOOK AT HOW YOUNG I LOOK ON THAT FIRST PHOTO! honestly, i don’t even look like me. it’s funny because most people don’t recognise photos of me from before 2012, because i suddenly just grew up but anyway that’s not the point of this photoset)
i’m so incredibly blessed that i’ve been able to have contact with my inspiration so many times, and i just wanted to make a post about how much i appreciate this lady. she was my first inspiration, and i remember my reaction when i wrote her a letter back in 2009. she responded within a week, and not only sent me a signed phantom leaflet, but also a letter too. i got to meet her a year later when i saw phantom live for the first time after waiting 6 years (!!!), and i’m so glad that she got to be my first live christine. she was also my first stage door experience. when she was signing my programme, my uncle said “lucy has been waiting so long to meet you" and she said “lucy? lucy coatman?" and that has honestly been the best moment of my life, not only meeting her, but also that she remembered me from my letter the previous year (and also from a few tweets). she stayed and talked for a while, and i honestly can’t really remember what was said other than stuff to do with phantom and performing (it was a bit of a daze for me).
i saw her again in wicked last year, and she’s genuinely one of the best glindas i have ever seen. like i said on my sdd article, "Gina has something about her which makes her truly remarkable. What makes her so extraordinary is her talent of becoming the character, rather than merely acting as them. I don’t think I’ve seen any actor or actress in any role become so deeply engrossed on stage, and it really is incredible to watch." she was such a joy to watch, and was once again so lovely at the stage door. she is the only person i get a bit nervous about meeting (i don’t know why. she’s so kind), but i was so thankful for this meeting again.
then, a couple of weeks ago, i met her before the wicked matinee. i unfortunately wasn’t seeing the show, but i had a drawing i wanted to give to her.
i just sort of wanted to ~commemorate~ how fortunate i have been to interact with my inspiration on multiple occasions, and these have honestly been the happiest moments of my life.
